    • Very good quality
Size: Queen Futon Color: Twill Navy Blue Cover
We are very pleased with this so far. The frame took a few hours to put together, but the hardwood looks nice and seems sturdy, and the mattress is very comfortable. Note the frame and the mattress arrive separately, but both came within the advertised shipping window and customer service was quick to respond when I asked about it. All in all, a good experience and a good product. ... show more

    • Soap hinges and use a rug gripper between the mattress and frame

I was very hesitant to buy a futon online, the frame and mattress arrived separately within week, overall I am very satisfied with this bed. My husband was able to put it together in about an hour and a half, only requiring my help at the end, he also used his personal set of allen wrenches. He also added that using his dewalt with the right bit would have been easier. Our company this past weekend said it was quite comfortable to sleep on (I also bought a 3 inch memory foam mattress topper). I was able to convert into the bed and back to futon by myself ( I'm almost 50 and overall an average woman when it comes to strength ) you just have to remove the mattress (leaned up against the wall) to make the frame easier to maneuver. At some point during my own research I ran across reviews that said to rub bar soap where the hinge is, and buy a rug gripper to hold the mattress on the seat and frame. I did both and attribute that to my overall ease of use. If you're looking to save space in a small guest room this is the right product for you. ... show more

    • Good looking and comfy, 3 hr assemble with breaks.
Size: Queen Futon Color: Twill Navy Blue Cover
It took me about three hours to put it together, and the frame is really nice looking and sturdy. It came is three boxes. First I pulled everything out and lined then up, including organizing all the bolts. Then I grabbed the instructions and figured out what was what and that it was all there. Then, I followed the directions. When it says to don't tighten the screws yet, follow the directions or you will have to go around and untighten them like I did. Once you get the first page done, the rest is easy. I was unfamiliar with the type of bolt and washer they sent, but they are pretty cool. The mattress is soft, but I slept really great. No back aches and such. I like it, and I'm happy. Oh, and I put it together all by myself. There was only one part where it would have been helpful to have another person, but I did it. ... show more

    • YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR RETURN COSTS
Size: Queen Futon Color: Twill Navy Blue Cover
Costs for return was $300+ (in-state) and it is all on you. Not worth buying if you are even remotely thinking of returning the product. I had to return because it did not fit in the spare bedroom.

    • Mattress is pathetic
Size: Queen Futon Color: Twill Navy Blue Cover
The mattress fill is lumpy and uneven and when you open the zipper it's disgusting to look at. It looks like shredded cardboard. What is with the white strings? They look awful. Is that to hold the mattress together? The cover is thin and strings were hanging from the seams. The frame is sturdy but it sits so low at the fold - no one can get up from it. I am sorry I bought it. I can't return it - we need it for company this week-end. ... show more

    • Quality Product, Domestic Customer Service
Size: Queen Futon Color: Twill Navy Blue Cover
This is a quality futon made of solid wood. The mattress is included, but ships separately. The futon is split into 3 boxes over 2 separate shipments. The company is very responsive and friendly. Other reviews complained about assembly time and complexity - as a weekend DIYer I had the futon put together within an hour and a half with no assistance. The instructions are detailed, but if they're followed assembly is very simple. There are certain pieces which need to be assembled in a certain direction and moving forward without paying attention to detail can cause backtracking. ... show more
