Used this tarp between the mesh and rainfly on the tent to keep us warmer to minimize the heater use while camping. Got too cold so I popped on the heater and within a minute that tent was warm even with the vent spots left open for the heater, in the cold and rain! It actually got so warm i slept outside the blankets. The next day was cold and raw out but in my tent I was toasty thanks to the reflective side down. Then rain got so bad the tent started dripping everywhere the Arcturus was not, totally saved us from getting completely soaked. When we packed up and left, the tarp was definitely packed up wet from never ending rain but very quickly dried after being hung over deck rail. This is most definitely coming on every camping trip. I was real happy to see reinforced grommets- those are always the first things to go. Also, I've pulled it out and opened it completely 5 times now and it still folds into its storage pouch easily which is usually a challenge with anything.

Ok so I went big and bought both the XL(Green) and the Camo regular size. The XL is a beast 12x8.5 and is nice material, feels solid, gromets are well placed not just in the corners and the stitching is great, they did a very well job reinforcing the hornets, and they are big, I can almost stick my thumb threw one. The Mylar is nice and on the 4th I wrapped me amd my daughter(probably could have fit entire family) sitting on it amd snugged up to watch fireworks, instantly you can feel urself getting warmer, even had 2 fireworks go off on the tarp!!!(drunk neighbors😡) and it left a small white spot, was sure it would have burnt threw.....I like this product so much i ordered the regular size amd will now use this as cover and small one as foot print for my Bivy, I also bought thier wool blanket in grey...its great, so much so that they are local and I will be going for a visit and hopefully a job application, I stand by this product 100% 20 year Survivalist, Woodsman, FF, Paramedic, Hunter/Fisherman, Prepper. I was looking at buying the DD tarp but glad I didn't, the extra gromet holes wasn't worth the 30$ extra....buy this, if you dont like it return it...my money is you wont lwt it go and will look at thier other products, BTW comes in a zip bag made out of the same material as the tarp, so if you do get a hole or tear you can patch it up using that and just find another bag or ouch to keep it in. We got this as a quick fix on our pop-up camper. It was a super hot summer and our A/C wasn't keeping up so we got this to go over the pull out bed and help keep the cool in! It worked really well and the camper stayed cool even in 110 degree temps! We only used it three times and it is already showing quite a bit of wear. Probably only going to get a few more uses out of it before we need to replace it, however this doesn't seem to be made for long term use so for the money it was perfect!

5 STARS FOR COSTOMER SERVICE -10 STARS FOR XL SURVIVAL BLANKET The grommets ripped right out on the first night I took it out, I hardly had any pressure on them. The reflection coating is coming off after the first night as well. UPDATE: I contacted the seller about the problem and they quickly responded. They are replacing the XL tarp. I hope the new one holds up better. UPDATE #2: The new replacement tarp did the same thing. The grommets pulled out when tying the tarp down. I hardly had to put any pressure on them and they came right out of the fabric again. I let the company know and am now waiting on a response. UPDATE #3: Arcturus responded quickly, refunded the money and sent me their original tarp that is smaller. I'm happy with the quality of their original one. If they made the XL tarp out of the same material it probably would have been a lot better quality. Over all, I didn't get the product that I wanted but they have excellent customer service and delt with the problem well.

Finally a size grabber that you can use as a general cover all top when you're hammock camping that's what I use mine for. ive used it over and over and over twice a week whenever I don't have to be at work the next day I'm out in the Woods camping backyard camping .I've used to monitors and there It's usually keeps me 10° warmer inside now that tarp is down close and it's kept close to my hammock so there's not a lot of air space between me and the grabber If there's not enough tie out points you can always add more grown it's but the ones I've there are reinforced and are strong
