Description

Read more Optimised for Static Pressure During the development of the new P12, special emphasis was placed on a focused airstream and thus a high static pressure. The fan assures extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance. Therefore, the P12 is particularly suitable for use on heatsinks and radiators. Lower Power Consumption A 10 °C lower motor temperature roughly doubles the life span of a fan. The new ARCTIC motor has a four times longer service life through its low coil temperature. High Quality Bearing Thanks to an alloy/lubricant combination developed in Germany, friction within the bearing is reduced and greater efficiency is achieved. As a result, there is less heat development as well as less bearing noise, which means you can enjoy a longer service life from your fan. Highly Efficient The ARCTIC P12 Case Fan is the ultimate PC-Cooler solution. • Just makes everything but noctua seem like a fraud!
Style: P12 PWM (black)
They are beast's at getting airflow through mesh filtration! I use them in my 011-Air as a test once other RGB fans choosing 3x failed and I'd recommend them in any application. They are better fans than what you could get for $20 each a decade ago. Only thing better are the Noctua redux for the price. Don't fall for the RGB hype. I've had 3 Silverstone AIO fans fail with the one below these 2 on it's way out! It'll be replaced by a p12 once it fails! Spend money on the things that matter. 1. PSU 2.mobo 3. The highest end CPU you can afford 4. A GPU that will leap frog three next gen(don't upgrade each release!) and last but not least.... Don't fall for the "PCI Express Gen 4" hype. There are many gen 3 nvme drives that outperform the cheap Gen 4 drives. Like my ignorance in buying an sn750se "gen 4"..... It's slower than the sn750 Gen 3 I was going to replace it with! I would also recommend that if you can afford it absolutely do not even think about hooking your computer directly to a wall or a surge protector! Just get one of the cheap APC battery backups as it will save your components and you will notice all of the random bugs and glitches and failures don't happen anymore because not only does your power supply clean your dirty power from the grid you've also got an amazing backup that might not run your PC for 10 minutes but absolutely absorbs spikes dips and everything in between. I wish I had learned that a decade ago. I would still have a 3Dfx voodoo 5 55500 if I'd not been gaming in a storm without an actual surge protector! I would gladly pay twice what they charge for these fans. If they release the maglev bearing version I think they could absolutely go head to head with noctua! ... show more

  • Arrived broken, but replacement within 24 hours satisfactory
UPDATED: I ordered a 5-pack of Arctic P12 PWM PST 120mm fans. All 5 fans were broken on arrival. I sent them back in exchange for working ones, which Amazon delivered within 24 hours. The replacement fans are in perfect condition. I also ordered a single Arctic P12 Silent 120mm fan that arrived in new condition. All 6 fans passed some basic testing, and seem to be functioning normally. Very quiet! Once I get them installed, I'll do some more tests, and I will update this review. UPDATE: I've been daily driving these fans for a few days now. I switched to the Arctic P12s from the stock CUK fans that came with my CUK case. Those old fans were 1500 RPM, and were extremely loud, even at lower RPMs. My initial observation was that these P12 fans are much quieter, which is surprising, considering they spin up to about 1800 RPM. P12s seem to be moving air very effectively. I installed three of the P12 PWM fans in the front of the case as intake, and two of the fans in the roof of the case as exhaust, pushing air through a Lian-Li Galahad 240mm AIO radiator. I 3D printed some gaskets with TPU to fit between the fans and the radiator to maximize airflow efficiency. I installed the single P12 Silent (not PWM, locked at ~1000 RPM) as an exhaust in the rear of the case. I noticed that the P12 motors are much smaller than the motors of most other fans that I've used. This led me to some other observations: The first is that, because the motor is smaller, the fan blades can can be much larger and more efficient; they can scoop more air. Also, because the motor is smaller, it takes noticeably longer for the fan to spin up. This means that the change in fan noise volume is gradual, and therefore is inherently less noticeable and less disruptive. As far as performance goes, the P12s are managing my temps just fine, both moving the hot air coming from the air-cooled GPU out of the case, and also pushing air through the AIO, keeping the CPU cool; at 100% load and 100% fans, my overclocked Ryzen 7 3700x eventually settles in at around 86°C, and my overclocked EVGA RTX 3070 FTW3 settles in at about 77°C. Ambient temp is about 21°C. Not too bad at all. All of this is subjective, I know, but I figured I would note it. Some reviewers say that there is some vibration that is a audible at certain RPMs. I do hear it, it is there, but I really don't think that it is a deal breaker for me, especially considering the volume of the old fans that I am coming from. The P12s are very very quiet. I may 3d print more gaskets for the other 3 fans to see if that makes any difference in the noise. I'll report on that if I ever get around to it. For now, it's really not bothering me. Overall, I love them! ... show more

  • Got tired of my screaming GPU fans.......
Style: P12 PWM PST - Black/Transparent
So I solved that problem with these fans. Let me tell ya how! These fans I used 1 p12 pst pwm and 1 non-pst pwm get transparent for slightly lighter fan assembly buy the cable on amazon named "CRJ 4-Pin PWM GPU Fan Adapter Cable" replaced stock MSI Armor MK2 RX580 fans so if you got that GPU and tired of them 92mm fans screaming in your ear at 3400 rpms drop the shrouded fans and strap 2 of these on there you'll knock of 5c on the high end temps and go silent even at max rpms using 2 of these. I don't even hear the gpu fans anymore. I have couple these in p14s on my aio from arctic and one p14 as front intake and a solid black p12 like these as a bottom intake, I needed the pressure. I don't hear gpu fans now over them they run nearly silent unless 75%+ the p14s. These run absolutely silent at 100% you can hear'em but only if you paying attention you wont hear'em while you gaming. Low sounding noise it wont be screaming like stock fans was at 100%. If you own this specific GPU you know what I'm talking about lol. While 120mm lil big for stock heat sink of that gpu, I still got them on there with no issues or difficulties. I used long black thin like zip ties. 10-12 inches something like that can't remember specifically. (note you can go lil fancier with a kit off amazon that will help you mount case fans this size bigger or smaller to gpus I just didn't care my case isn't windowed and rgb'ed up, so get it if you are worried about looks) Anyways I wish arctic made 92mm of these fans, they make 80mm but to small for this task. In some ways I think i was better off with 120s even though they over hang a bit on power cable end, top and bottom didn't hurt anything as I've got the gpu vertical mounted so that over hang pushing air round my PCH area it kinda needed that dropped about 2c off PCH under load and idle about 7c. So it worked out pretty well in the end. I really love these fans love that aggressive look even though you'll never see that because they moving but they have great pressure to them aswell. The cfm flow isn't the strongest for 120 or 140 but if you looking for pressure and silent running you'll be happy with these or even the p14s. I haven't tried the p8 so no comment there. Price to performance ratio is unmatched really. Anyways, take care hope my review helps both, you (the customer) and arctic. ... show more
