Description

Read more Optimised for Static Pressure During the development of the new P12 PWM PST CO, special emphasis was placed on a focused airstream and thus a high static pressure. The fan ensures extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance. Therefore, the P12 PWM PST CO is particularly suitable for use on heatsinks and radiators. More Efficient Technology The motor is powered by a Neodym-Iron-Boron-Magnet ring of the newest generation, which allows the new P12 PWM PST CO (0.96 W @ 1800 RPM) to run much more efficiently than its predecessors (F12 PWM PST CO: 2.88 W @ 1350 RPM). This saves energy and lowers the coil temperature without comprimising the performance. For Continuous Operation The premium quality Japanese dual ball bearing allows continuous operation 24/7 without the slightest compromise in performance. Dust and high temperature are affecting this bearing a lot less than generic sleeve or one ball bearings and thus make it the perfect choice when reliability is essential. 200 to 1800 RPM regulated via PWM With a wide range of regulation and the PWM Sharing Technology (PST), the P12 PWM PST CO fan speed can be controlled synchronously with all your other fans together. This keeps noise at a minimum while ensuring maximum cooling performance when needed. • Arctic 120mm PWM with PST
Fans work well. I bought 2 of them and used the PST connector to run both from one Fan Header in the motherboard. Works without an issue. And the speed is correctly getting reported to the PC. FYI only one fan speed will get reported coz that's how PST or PWM splitters work. But both fans as long as they are the same model will work at the same speed. ... show more

  • Good fan for the price, but could be better
Like most products I buy, I YouTube to the ends of the earth and back to find every applicable review before buying something. I did my homework on 120mm fans before buying the Arctic P12s. They consistently ranked in the upper half of all 120mm fan reviews for both cooling performance and quietness (in dB). We all know that Noctua AF 12x25s reign supreme, but I was looking for a non $32 fan that gave good performance at a much lower price. In my testing this past week I used these fans for exhaust and intake for my AIO radiator. The good: The fans deliver well on cooling. It pulls a lot of air through my AIO radiator and is relatively quiet low to mid-level speeds. The bad: There is a consistent motor whine with these fans. I had heard this in reviews but they always downplayed it as insignificant. Well, it's definitely audible and if you like a very quiet system, these are not the best choice for a similar price range. Overall: Good fan, fairly quiet, and delivers good cooling. However, I ended up buying the Noctua NF-P12 Redux. They are a few dollars more and are quieter fans that deliver equal performance on cooling. I would definitely recommend anyone going that route if you're looking for a really good 120mm fan at a low price. ... show more

  • Quiet little fan!
The Zalman case I bought nearly a decade ago came with its own fans that I've been using pretty much problem-free until last month. It started rattling, and LOUDLY. It was interrupting my meetings, and making me want to shove pens in my ears. Searched around online, and this little baby was highly recommended. Replaced that nutty rattly fan, and I'm living in complete bliss. ... show more

  • Good quality and easy to install
This fan was a replacement for a noisy case fan that was way overdue for replacement. The fan was nicely built and the mounting screws were good quality and I had no issue installing it. It actually was much more difficult to take off the old one than it was to install the new one.

  • Better than the stock NR200p fans
These are more silent than the stock Cooler Master NR200p fans that come with the case. I chucked the stock fans and have been running these P12's in place of them (4 in total) for the past year and a half or so and they stay quiet to this day. Never a single one chirping or wobbling a single bit. Very quiet case, even though I have a total of 9 fans in the thing. Sure I have them spool up during heavy gaming but everything in the case is working hard then. I'd buy again for the next build. ... show more

  • An odd noise
At a PWM similar to the non-CO variant (roughly 1000 RPM), the movement of the blades is audible. It's clearly bearing noise. However, the non-CO variant makes NO bearing noise *except* at 1200 RPM, where it makes an annoying noise that goes away at any other RPM. In fact, excepting this defect, the non-CO variant is about as silent as noctua fans. It is disappointing that the CO variant is noisier (or more irritating) than the non-CO variant, because, remember, the non-CO variant uses a sleeve bearing, and can NOT be used in an anything but a vertical orientation! If you want a noctua-performing fan and need fans in a vertical orientation, I heartily recommend the non-CO variant of this fan. The CO variant I wouldn't use again. I simply got it to use as an auxiliary fan to keep my computer cool while it is charging (to extend the life of the li-ion cells). ... show more

  • Absolutely Amazing Value. Alienware Aurora R10
For anyone wondering, these fans are completely compatible with my Alienware Aurora R10. They do not trip the bios error unlike many other fans. These fans are so quite compered to the stock fans. The stocks ones could be heard even with my AC on and these are barely noticeable even with the AC off. I use 4 in my PC and the thermals are way lower that they used to be. Stock the Alienware had the CPU at 96C but these fans with a 120mm Corsair h60 radiator aio brought it down to 78C mac while gaming. It's a night and day difference. As I said I earlier, I do use them for radiators in a push and pull configuration with no problem and good airflow. For the price I can't stop complimenting this fan. ... show more

  • premium aio fan
If you need a fan to push through a radiator, this is it. I bought three of these to replace the stock fans on my 360 deepcool castle 360, and when comparing versus those fans and also some corsair ml120 pro "magnetic levitation" fans, it's not even close how much better these fans are to those. For some reason I would have thought that stock fans on a premium 360 aio would be the best suited, but these arctic fans can run at 100% and are quieter than both the stock aio and corsair fans by a mile. Keep in mind that this particular model is for static pressure so you want it for situations where you are pushing through mesh filters or radiator fins. For fans that are general airflow/case fans, get the ones that start with F, I also bought an 80mm fan for exhaust (F8 pwm pst co) and it runs just as great as this one. ... show more
