Description

The high static pressure makes Pro fans ideal for use on radiators, as they can effectively move air through tight obstacles. Pressure-optimized fans are also particularly suitable for use with perforated panels or mesh fabrics, which create additional resistance. Revised fan blade design for an optimal balance of performance and quiet operation. Thanks to an additional PWM connector, the P12 Pro PST can be directly connected to additional fans. This allows multiple fans to be daisy-chained and controlled synchronously via a single connector. Reduces motor noise and automatically compensates for speed drops due to increased resistance. Integrated protection mechanisms limit inrush current peaks and reliably protect against damage caused by reverse polarity. Narrower manufacturing tolerances and gaps allow the fan to work more effectively against resistance, maximizing static pressure and airflow efficiency. The fan impresses with a significant increase in performance even at low speeds. Normalized to 25 dB(A), the fan offers both increased airflow and increased static pressure – ideal for quiet and efficient cooling. Amazing airflow, Amazing static pressure and feels premium. Yes they are noisy at 3000rpm but thats to be expected. And there's no need for that case of use. Excellent, but not plug-and-play
Those complaining about the noise of this fan don't understand what they're buying. This is a 3000RPM fan. It will be loud at anywhere near that speed, just like any other fan that goes that high, regardless of price. However, their magic happens when you put them up against other fans at similar RPMs. At about 1800RPM, matching my Noctua NF-A12x25 max speed, practically speaking, they are of equal noise. The sound profile is pretty similar as well. When you consider that I paid $9.50 for one of these versus $35 for the Noctua, that's extremely impressive. These are also a great choice for a deshrouded GPU. My MSI Ventus 3X 3080 had horribly noisy stock fans. Took those off and strapped two of these bad boys onto it, limited the RPM to 2000, and the results are extraordinary. It's whisper quiet, and I've yet to see the temperature go above 71 degrees Celsius. This is in a Lian Li A3 mATX case, mind you--a small, confined area. To sum it all up, if noise is a concern, limit these to about 2000RPM. You'll get nearly Noctua performance for a third of the price. An extraordinary value. ... show more

One of the best for an AIO
Used a pair of these to replace the Fans on my Pure Loop 2. The same fans used by Arctic in their Liquid Freezer. Way better than the included fans, cable managing was a bit of a faff but easy to install onto the radiator and perform better than the stock fans. They are quiet as well, the pump slightly louder than the fans are on idle, and they only spin on boot or for a few moments when a game or high demanding application is launched. Best part is they double as intake, so they bring in cool air to the GPU as the AIO is mounted at the bottom. ... show more

Loud enough to drown out my mother-in-law
However, unlike a mother-in-law, you can easily turn the noise down on these. These fans can be SUPER LOUD- but that's because they spin almost twice as fast as the competition. You will need to set new fan curves to account for a 3000rpm fan. For example, unless CPU temperatures reach north of 90 degrees celsius, my P12s will always spin below 60% speed- effectively matching the Noctuas with a MUCH higher headroom. Once I figured that out, these became my new favorite PC fans. It feels like Arctic spent money where it counts on these fans- in high-quality plastics, rubber vibration damper mounts, and smart engineering. My main gripe with these fans is the daisy chaining. The PWM splitter connectors are oriented in a weird way- the plug to power the fan is oriented behind the plug to provide power to another fan, making installation interesting. Adding these fans to my 240mm radiator was a breeze (pun intended), and I noticed a decrease in CPU temps. I bought these mainly to de-RGB my PC build, and so far so good. Ultimately, the P12 pro's are great fans and my new go-to, and they're probably the best value for money fan on the market today. Geat fans at a great price.
I use these as intake fans at the front of my case. They flow air very well and are quite, which is what I wanted.

Price-to-performance beast
If I could give these 4.5 stars, I would, as they're around an A- in my book. The value proposition is great, and the only thing dragging down the score is the faint "buzzing" noise that occurs at any RPM on my air cooler, and at a certain RPM range as a case fan. I've since replaced these with Noctua fans, as quietness has become more important to me. That's not to say that the P12 Pros are bad: they're a fantastic value, but it's just that the Noctuas were worth the extra cash to me. The Good: [+] Performance: moves a lot of air on my 9950X, cooling admirably even during multicore workloads. [+] Value for performance: hard to beat if you're just grading on a price-to-performance basis. The Bad: [-] Buzzing noise: occurs most prominently on my CPU air cooler, but also happens when used as a case fan. Tweaking your fan curve can mitigate this. Definitely worth a buy if noise is not a consideration, or if the (much) more steeply-priced Noctuas are out of reach. Just be sure to set a proper fan curve. ... show more

Affordable, efficient, effective but un-attractive fans. Perfect!
For the price and the job at hand? - Perfect. I have a gaming rig. No CPU OC'ing here (using a 11400F CPU) with a Thermalright twin tower cooler with 2 NF-P12 redux-1300 fans installed on it. After about 4 years, one of the fans died on me. So, I set out to find a cheap rteplacement. Being that I need two fans on the cooler, I simply looked for some high static pressure fans that were cheap. No RGB's or anything else fancy on them. I cam across these and for the cost, I asked myself "why not?". Received them within a day. First off, these fans feel hefty. They reminded me of the older and venerable Santo Denki San Ace's I had over 10 years ago. Those created tornado's inside my computer both in wind and sound. The cable was a bit longer than I needed (CPU cooling duty requires less cabling than case cooling fans sometimes need) but easy to tie up any excess and tuck away out of sight. The cable also comes with the daisy chaining feature. VERY useful when you need to control 2 fans at the same speed. Corners already come with the rubber mountings attached. Convenient. So, I set out to test and since I had my computer's fan profile set up for the previous fans, these fans were too quiet for the speed I was seeing. So I set out to adjusting the profile. At about 50-60% speed, these fans start becoming a bit noisy. In my case, this was fine since my previous fans had a max speed of 1300 rpm and I rarely needed to get to that speed (which I could start to hear). After some tinkering I came to a respectable fan profile. At about 1,120 rpm and if you really listen closely you may hear the faintest of a hum from these two fans working. I am betting that with just one fan you may not even notice them and you may get the cooling you really need (I am guessing I over killed my cooling by getting/installing both fans but for the price?). If you are gaming, watching/listening to streams, you will not hear or notice the very light hum at 1,250 rpm. To me I start noticing a hum at about the 1,550-1,600 rpm mark BUT 2 things to consider. 1) I have both fans running. Any increase in the light humming is probably due to the increased air flow I create by using both fans. 2) I used the benchmark utility within a game that is both GPU and CPU intensive (Cyberpunk 2077). The added humming was probably a combination of both these fans as well as the fans on the GPU itself. Overall, I am please with these fans. Cost, efficiency, effectiveness. They are not an attractive fan either. They are the simple old-school black case fans with no RGB's or colored plastics. They simply work. They are not HTPC quiet either but I am not running a HTPC. Flipping the coin to look at the other side, they are not a noisy network server fan either by a long shot. If I need to have HTPC quietness, a good set of headphone comes to my rescue. Ever notice how "attractive" fans always cost more (albeit, with very few exceptions)? ;-) ... show more
