I'm giving a tentative 4 star. This chest freezer is a nice small size that fits in unobtrusively. It's quiet. The temperature setting and the drain out are in the front so it's easy access. It seems to fit a lot of stuff but I still have to buy some more baskets. With chest freezers, it's all about organization so that people can easily access the bottom of the chest freezer. I let it sit for 24 hours in the spot it was supposed to be. It was very easy to access the power cord. It seemed to chill very very quickly so I was able to start moving things within a few hours of powering it on. ... show more

    • Perfect Small Freezer
This freezer is the perfect fit for small spaces. It can hold 3 16lbs bags of ice from Costco & still have room on the side for several pounds of protein. It runs quietly & doesn't build frost quickly. We've had for a year now & have not one complaint. ((knock on wood))

We've only had the unit for one week so can't rate energy efficiency or even value for the money yet. It does seem to be running whenever i walk by so we'll see when the energy bill comes in. It fits in our mud room space perfectly and is allowing us to stock up on meats and veggies when they are on sale. Plenty of room in this little guy! Unfortunately, it arrived dented (in the front, of course) but figured it would be more of a hassle to re-package and return than plug in and use. The dent doesn't seem to have affected the operation of the freezer in any way so far. The manufacturer should add corner protectors when packaging. I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this Arctic King 3.5 cubic foot chest freezer. ONTRAC delivered the freezer three days before the scheduled delivery day. The driver even brought it up the four stairs onto our porch and just inside the house. The freezer is just the right size and perfectly fits in my small kitchen.     • Great for small spaces!
Our new refrigerator has very limited freezer space so I was happy to find this 3.5 cf chest freezer. The cost was the same as a 5cf but I really needed the smaller foot print and as it is so deep it holds a lot of food. So happy with the purchase so far, it quickly got to the proper temp soon after turning on. Was also delivered way more quickly than I thought it would be ( two days vs. the seven+ I was told in the original email) ... show more
