Features

  • INNOVATIVE DESIGN: Design of fan blades improves airflow and facilitates efficient ventilation, impeller was designed with a focus on minimzing the noise level yet delivering the desired airflow and pressure
  • PERFECT CASE FAN REGULATION WITH PWM: The PWM function allows the motherboard to run the fan precisely at its necessary speed. This guarantees the required cooling and minimizes the noise level
  • TWO WAY INSTALLATION: Blow warm air out of the case, draw cool air into your case
  • LONG SERVICE LIFE: The Fluid Dynamic Bearing comes with an oil capsule that avoids lubricant leakage, thus this bearing is as quiet as a sleeve bearing but comes with a higher service life
  • TECHNICAL DATA: Fan speed: 2301350 RPM, Airflow: 53 CFM/90.1 m3/h (@ 1350 RPM), Noise Level: 0.3 Sone (@ 1350 RPM), Pin: 4-pin

not a bad case fan to use

  • Lovely fan. Highly recommended for replacing all of your OEM case fans
Style: F12 PWM (black)
This review is for: ARCTIC F12 PWM - 120 mm PWM Case Fan So you know how sub-$100 cases come with anywhere from 1 to 3 fans? They are mostly 3-pin and mostly poor performing. I build my kid's system using one of those cases and realized his graphics card fan was spooling up far more than i thought it should. It turned out the case barely had any airflow despite three 120mm fans. And, they were only 3-pin so they were always on at full speed - not that it mattered. But they were a pretty blue from the LEDs. I ordered these Arctic F12's to replace them (these do not have LEDs). Super easy install and upon booting back up I went into the BIOS/UEFI and told it to learn the fans. It spooled them up and down a few times and I handed the PC back to my kid. No more graphics card fan sounding like a jet engine, no more high system temps. And as a bonus, the whole build is quieter as much of the time the fans don't need to spin up much. Unlike the stock fans, you can FEEL the air moving with these. ... show more

  • Great quiet case fan, nice cabling options
Style: F12 PWM PST (black/white)
ARCTIC F12 PWM Case Fan - This is actually the F12 PWM PST per the manufactuer since it has the cables to share the PWM connection. These fans were used in a HTPC that previously resided in the basement (cables through wall to TV) and now resides in the Living Room next to the TV. I was looking for PWM fans that were near silent but still moved enough air to be used as a case fan. At full speed, these are slightly audible. Once slowed down just a bit, near silence. Out of the fans I have tested in the past week, this is the best compromise I have found so far for quiet, price, and air flow. I really liked the cables on these since they allow for the sharing of a single PWM port on your MB. I am using an Evercool PWM Fan Splitter Cable to allow me to drive several of my case fans along with my CPU fan. This fan is nice since it has the tach line on a separate plug so I can plug that into the MB header and still monitor fan speeds for this specific fan. Other fans in my case or tested along with this one: Corsair Air Series SP120 Quiet Edition PWM - quieter than the ARCTIC, but doesn't move as much air - nicer mounting system with rubber isolation mounts Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - moves more air at similar RPM - moves a LOT more air at much higher RPM - similar rubber isolated mounts - makes more noise at similar RPM Overall I think this is the case fan I have been looking for. I will probably be buying more of these to replace the other 4 120mm fans in my case eventually. Or at least I will be trying the other various 120mm fans from ARCTIC to replace the others. ... show more

  • Quiet and they move a lot of air!
Style: F12 PWM PST (black/white)
These fans will move a lot of air quietly. They mount easy and seem well built especially considering the price. They wont have a high static pressure but will move a large volume of air. This makes them perfect for case fans. I bought a four pack and installed them in a Coolermaster HAF 912 case. The air they move is considerable compared to the case fans the Coolermaster came with. Unlike most fans they are electrically stackable. There is a place along the cord to plug in a second fan to enable you to use more fans than you have motherboard jacks. You can always use a power supply output and run the fan at 100% but using the motherboard enables you to have some control over the fan also get a warning if a fan is stopped or not performing. Not to mention this method allows you to have some audio feedback of how much of a load is being placed on your CPU. The one star is deducted is for the quality of the wiring. The tachometer wire seems almost as thin as a hair and it feels like it might be easy to break. For some reason this wire is separate from the rest of the harness and makes it a little more difficult to neaten up the case once its installed. Some people have mentioned they don't like the wires being colored. This is done so that you know what wire is what. If you don't like the colors you can always purchase a sleeve to go over it later. The white fan blades actually look pretty nice moving inside of a black case. All in all a good deal for the money and they will certainly move some air around your case! ... show more

  • Awesome quality, extremely quiet nearly silent
Style: F12 PWM PST (black/white)
Awesome quality, extremely quiet nearly silent. I replaced all 7 fans in my case with these and their working beautifully. FYI if your unfamiliar with PST it essentially allows you to hook up multiple fans to a single header because each fan has a small pig tail from the main connector to hook another fan into. You can hook up to 5 fans from a single header. This is very nice for motherboards that have too few fan headers. I ended up having 4 of these fans use the PST function so all front case fans were in sync - this is very nice. Cable length is generous and should be more than sufficient for a full ATX case. I would absolutely recommend these. I would defenetly, without a doubt buy them again. Another question that was answered for myself after using these was the static air pressure. They blow very well and move a lot of air. I have two of these mounted on my radiator for a closed loop water cooler I use (Corsair H100i). They don't have quite the static pressure of the Corsair HS series fans, but the system is not over clocked and I max out around 48c on the CPU with the ARCTIC F12's still. The Corsair are loud - like stupid loud you can hear them from another room when they are at full speed. The F12's at full throttle are magnitudes quieter (albet less static pressure) but still more than sufficient. They look cool too! No stupid LED's no gimmicks. Plastic is the nice thick type, I've broken blades in the past from all my tinkering and accidental bumping. I think the added couple blades defently help with noise and air flow. These are PERFECT for the front of a computer case or rear exhaust 120mm case port. They are also dual bearing fans. Now sleeve bearings are generally quieter (they don't last as long), these bearing fans are on par with how quiet the sleeve bearings are. ... show more
