We had a trouble code on the dash for the DPF, BMW 2015 X5 35d. Vehicle had 135,000 miles on it, so I took it to the local dealer, just to see what they could do for me on a recalled part, but limited to 125,000 mile warranty. it cost me 250 dollars to be told the DPF filter sensor needs to be replaced and #2 injector was malfunctioning(my scanner didn't give me an error code on the injector). So, I was given a estimate of appox $800 for a new DPF sensor and $1300 for a new injector.(You should always replace all of them and the fuel filter at same time). The vehicle was running fine except for the warning on the dash. So, I decided to give this additive a shot. I have used Opti-lube and some other diesel fuel additives in the past, but never consistently. I was able to clear the dash warning light with my reader: loaded up the tank with double the normal mixture, did a 400 mile trip, after the first regen dash light back on, about 300 miles in light went off, finished the entire bottle over the next two weeks. We are now at 147,000 miles no issues and I haven't added anything to the fuel since. With the additive our vehicle had increased mpg and more responsive power; which is a equal response to the other additives I have used. I do think some bad fuel from a station not normally used was the culpirt and this additive cleared the injector. The bottle design is superior to many other additives out there, but no matter what I do, I cannot keep it in the car because of the strong odors. Not snake oil, it WORKS!

I’ve been using Archoil products since my 6.0 PowerStroke days. It worked well then. Now I’m in a 6.7 PowerStroke, it still works fine today. I gain better engine lubrication with the oil additive, and better fuel lubrication and injector cleaning with the fuel additive and cleaner. As a heavy RV 5th wheel hauler I highly recommend these products.

I inherited a GMC truck with an LB7 diesel motor, which is notorious for injector failures. The previous owner had used a far more expensive and hard-to-find diesel treatment with no injector problems thorugh 170K miles. This product appears and smells exactly the same, so I am guessing it's using the same cleaners in its formula. I've used it for 30K miles and am hoping it continues to prevent a $5K injector repair.
