Great addition to my arcade room. I have several of the Arcade1up machines and this is just as well built as all Arcade1up machines. I did get the base for it also. I have many nieces and nephews that come over 120 miles to my house just to play in the arcade. If you have played on any Arcade1up machines you'll love this one as well. It takes about 30 minutes to put together. The instructions are very clear and easy to read. If you can use a phillips screwdriver, you can put this arcade machine together. The controls work smoothly without any issues. Game play is perfect and fun. This arcade machine has multiple games installed on it just like all the other Arcade1up machines do. 1 machine 14 games. You can't beat that for the price. And the visualls are just as I remembered if not better than the original. It sure does bring back the good ol' days of my youth and will for you as well. This Arcade 1up is upgraded in many ways to the first cabinets they shipped. Loved the games selection. I've always been a CAPCOM fan anyway. The graphics are excellent, such a good looking cab! I later learned that this model has an upgraded board/CPU which has an SD card port, and can be soft modded to add games easily (look it up!) Assembly took about 2-3 hours for 1.5 people. Easy, but many steps. Super happy with the value of this product! ... show more

    • Riser situation is a bummer
We have another Arcade1UP (class of 88) and were hoping the riser with this one would make it a little taller (i am over 6' tall). they shortened the cabinet dramatically and "added" a riser to make you think this unit is taller. This cabinet with riser is the same height as our other Arcade 1UP cabinet without riser. seems like bait and switch. Other than that, its a great system. the fighting arcade ROMs are quite challenging and let me know just how bad i am at them :-) Great fun though. a little cramped for 2 full grown men to plat at the same time, but still doable. had to take away a star for the riser shenanigans. ... show more

    • Fun and nice aesthetic
I like having this for my bar in my basement. I really don't play it much, it's more for the "look" of the bar area. It works great, though it was a bit of a pain in the butt to put together. The detail on the cabinet is amazing and really pops out. The lighting on the marquee is also fantastic. The "coin door" makes it look authentic. The controls are okay, I did see youtube reviews on how to upgrade them. I considered it when I first set up the machine, however, it's not used enough to warrant an additional investment of $100 to upgrade the controls. I ended up buying the matching stool later and was super happy I did. I recommend buying the set together if possible. There are 14 games included with the cabinet and it is super easy to select something to play. ... show more

Can't even tell you how much of a moral boost it's been to have this game cabinet in the office! Need a 5 minute break? Go throw some fireballs into E. Honda's robust tummy or slam a Tiger Uppercut straight through Guile's smug face - makes things better every time.

    • Favorite cab so far.
I already liked the art online, but in-person it looks awesome. I had a hard time deciding between this and the Shinku Hadouken cab. I like the front of that one better, but the Yoga Flame has more of the old characters I liked as a kid and the red side art looks incredible in person. The colors pop way more than the online pics show and it's super shiny. So glad I went with this. Somebody else said something about it being shorter. That made me worried, but I put it next to my old Marvel Super Heroes cab I bought in 2020 and if anything I can confirm it's slightly taller. Looking online, they're both right around 6', which is standard. I think the one the guy was talking about was extra large. I didn't think I'd like the tilted control panel. I thought it'd be annoying to rest my hands on, but after using it, I like it a lot better than the flat one. It feels more ergonomic to me. The buttons are just okay. I bought a cheap button and stick kit for my old cab on Amazon and those feel way better to me, but these are passable. My other ones are Sanwa clones and I'll probably buy Sanwa hardware to upgrade just because I love this cab so much. But if you told me I'd have to stick with the stock buttons, it'd be fine. The stock games list is pretty good. It has a good mix of beat em ups, fighters, and shooters. It has online. I haven't used it for anything but the leaderboards yet until I get good at Street Fighter again, but excited to try it out. Love this cab. ... show more
