This is really too good to be true. The dealership pointed out my hood lift struts were dead and quoted $159.00 to replace. I watched a video on how to replace them myself and then found this set on Amazon. I am not super mechanical. I usually do it once and then do it right the second time. Honestly, one straight screw driver a couple of pops and a couple of snaps and done in less than 2 minutes. I couldn't believe how quick and how easy it was. The struts work great. I saved a bunch of money.

Take a flathead screwdriver out with you and pay attention to which way they're already turned. But even if you put them on the wrong way, they'll still rotate so they fit. They look just like the OEM parts. They're durable. They're just the right amount of stiffness. They open the hood just right. And best of all, they cost about as much as a value meal! Get yourself a set right now!

Appears to be a solid product which is the same or better than OEM, they definitely hold the hood up on an 05' Acura TL, you may want to ease the hood up so as not to let it go as they are powerful. I cannot comment on the longevity as I just installed them so time will tell. I only received one but the amazing Amazon customer service quickly rectified the error and shipped the other one the next day. The instructions on the package don't really give a clear overview of how to install but there are several YT videos that show how to remove/install them, installs fairly easy, if you can handle a flat blade screwdriver you should be able to remove/install without an issue.
