I felt like the heathered look and wooden looking buttons gave it a higher end look, but deducted a star because the button holes are tiny and not reinforced so they gape once you unbutton the sweater. Sizing also runs a little smaller in the waist and hips; the bust measurement is accurate but it tapers from there. Gives more of a structured look, but something to be aware of. I love this one, it's soft, the perfect weight, great buttons and well made, and it perfectly matches the short sleeved crewneck version in the same fabric to make a sort of twinset look. So classic, I'll be able to wear it forever. You can't beat this fabric in a sweater.

While I wish this was made with a higher percentage of natural fibers, I wear sweaters a lot, and I need them comfortable and easy to wash. I like the look and feel of this, I hope it washes well. I agree that the button holes are not stitched/finished so they do look weak, I hope they don't stretch out. I like mine to fit a little loose so I sized up and it fits perfect. ... show more

I bought XL based on size chart. Not true to size. Extremely oversized. Button holes are not properly stitched and are simply a hole cut in the fabric. I gave a two star only because the fabric is nice.
