  • Awesome trolling motor!!
Color: Hand Control 12V 65LBS
Mounted this to the back of a pa14. I have done 12 miles in a day and still had half a 75ah battery left. Plenty of power. Run over 2mph at 1/4 throttle and almost 6mph at full. Love it so much a I bought a second one.

  • My favorite electric motor of all time!
Now I've been using electric motors with my solar system to push my 30ft sailing yacht for many years now. I've been through many electric motors by several manufacturers. This one is by far the best built and strongest of all of them! It's not that quiet because you can hear that powerful gearbox in motion. I love that sound! It sounds like a jet engine revving up to speed! At very low speeds it can quiet down pretty well if you wanted to use it for fishing. It's perfect for what I do and two of them would be equal to a diesel engine on my boat. Big electric motors need big battery banks, keep that in mind. Twin 8Ds are great! I'll make a video soon. ... show more

  • Voltage usage is good. However
Color: Black Hand Control 24V 110LBS
Provides the power that is advertised. Able to push a 14ft dinghy at 5knots with ease. Voltage usage is good. However, the motor is very noisy, the controls are flimsy. The fittings such as the attachment is made out of plastic and does not seem that it can be trusted. Have only used it for about 5 hours and it does work, but don't have a lot of confidence at this point. One week later: Still working well, the noise is still a bit high for an electric motor, feel insecure about the plastic mount, however, just to experiment I attached to my 22ft Sailboat and it pushed it at up to 5kts for over an hour and I still has 50% electricity in the bank. I use two small, 12V deep cycle batteries to make 24V. I would give it another star if only the fittings were more substantial. Update: Used this motor for a month almost every day: I use it to use my 14ft hard-bottom dinghy to go to the store, about a two mile round trip and it has been great. Still not really sure about the mounting bracket but I am sufficiently impressed to have purchased two more. Update # 2: I purchased 3 of these motors and noticed that they have small variations. The first one was great, good fittings, good solid electrical hookups. The Second one does not always immediately respond to the "throttle" especially right after reversing. The manufacturer has not responded to some information I asked for. The third one was missing a nut that held the control module to the main shaft, the electrical hookup was of poor quality, totally different component compared to the first one, some of the insulation of the wiring was compromised and the unit would only work in the higher ranges, no response in the low settings. I sent this one back. ... show more

  • A little loud but does the job
Color: Hand Control 12V 65LBS
Bought this when the pandemic was in full swing and I couldn’t find another . What I have noticed that it is a little on the loud side compared to my minn Kota. the prop is way smaller . I really didn’t get out much but it did push me around with my 12 foot Jon boat in a small lake with ease. There really isn’t a center stop point , so you might go to far when you spin the handle to forward or reverse in the beginning. Otherwise , it does the job, so far. Just wished it was a little quieter. I don’t want to spook the bass!!!! ... show more

  • very lightweight
Color: Hand Control 12V 20LBS
This thing is tiny, and short, but powerful enough to move a small kayak around. Don't buy for a heavy person in a big canoe or jonboat, not powerfull enough. Wires are too short, if you want battery in front of kayak you have to add extension to the wires. The mounting plastic uclamp seems too weak to hold the motor horizontal when not in use. The mounting screws don't tighten beyond about 3/4 inch transom...they should have longer bolts. I wish the speed were more adjustable than just low and high...sometimes I want to go very slow. Yeah, lots of suggestions for improvements but I like it. Cute ... show more

  • There is no way this is 55lb
Color: Transom 55LBS
This had to be a bad Motor! It was super slow. Barely faster than the old tired 15 year old 24lb minn Kota that this was supposed to replace. I tried three different batteries with this motor and no difference.. I usually get 2.5mph with 24lb motor.. 3.6 with a 32lb motor on the same boat. This motor at 55lb maxed out at 2.7mph. This should have been way faster.. The steering tightness nob should be on top of the transom mount.. not u derneath where its in water if you have to adjust away from the dock Also their return policy y is BS. if you read it it says they will credit your original payment less shipping fees. OR PROVIDE THEM WITH A TRACKING NUMBER and they would credit your account Ina few days. Vs 10 days after they get it. I. Either way I'm not gambling on cheap Chinese stuff again to maybe have to send another one back and be charged again. I already ordered a comparable Minn Kota which is something I should have done in the first place. And again I really think it's crap that you get boned for postage fees on their defective garbage. ... show more

  • Perfect for Intex inflatables.
Color: Hand Control 12V 20LBS
First of all this is one honest helpful seller. Second of all this little electric motor isn't very fast but does the job. I used this on an intex excursion 5 with two adults plus fishing gear and in wind on Bear Lake in Utah. We fished until a big wind came up and headed back to shore, the motor was a huge help even though we had to row to help it. The motor had decent thrust during the calm part of the day and ran for hours with no problems and it was definitely more fun than a poke in the eye with a pointed stick. The next time we went out it was a calm day and the kids even enjoyed cruising out to the trampoline rentals to play. This motor was very economical and well worth the price and I hope to use it for several years to come. Great for getting to that fishing spot you don't want to or can't row to. ... show more
