Shelves are easy and simple to install with the necessary hardware. It even came with the bubble level. I would suggest mounting the shelves to at least one stud if you are planning to put heavy items on it. Material wise, the shelves are a bit rough even for the rustic finish, but the colors are spot on.

These floating shelves come in a pack of three but I've only installed two shelves, so far. I first installed the recommended drywall anchors that come with this set but it seemed a bit wonky once I put the shelves up. I then put up my own metal drywall anchors and the shelves seemed even wonkier. At this point, I was pretty fed up and wanted to quit. BUT at the last minute, when I was at the end of my rope, I tried installing the anchors that come with this set that are only meant for cement but I figured what do I have to lose? and they were PERFECT!! The shelves are very sturdy now. I haven't decorated them the way I want. So far, I am using them for my cosmetics and I have been applying my cosmetics more regularly since they are right in front of me. The plants and the towel bar pictured don't come with this set but I love them all together! Overall, I would say this set is the perfect floating shelves IF you first and only use the drywall anchors meant for cement, you will have the easiest time setting this whole thing up :) good luck on your decorating ventures!

These shelves look really nice, and the hardware that attaches them to the walls is well thought out. You secure a mounting bar to the wall, slide the shelf in place, and then use two screws inserted through the bottom of each shelf to secure the shelf to the mounting bar. I really like how these truly appear to float on the wall, with the hint of a bracket holding them in place. The wood is very attractive, with a beautiful grain! The mounting bar feels strong and secure. The wood itself is really lightweight, so it puts very little weight on the wall anchors. The wood is stained, but there doesn't seem to be a finish coat over the stained wood, so I wouldn't put anything like a water glass on it, where water might seep into the wood. I may put a coat of polyurethane on them just to seal the wood better. In summary, these look great, they are well designed and well-secured to the wall. This is a really nice, and truly "floating" product!

I bought these floating shelves so my son has somewhere to display his Lego masterpieces. I chose them because I like the clean look of hidden brackets. It simply displays everything and doesn't distract. They are very strong and sturdy and very easy to hang. These shelves are a simple staple to display your favorite treasures or masterpieces.

I was looking for some smaller shelves to put above my coffee maker and, these are exactly what I needed! They are not to big and just the right size for my small canisters and a few decorative items. I really like that they are floating shelves and don't have brackets that show. My husband put them up, and it only took him about 20 minutes. I am considering getting another set to put in my guest bathroom.
