Intallaion was somewhat easy. Had to order the quick release bracket for my pontoon or it would of hit my trailer if I left it on the boat. Seems to work well. I have used this motor twice now on my pontoon. 20ft pontoon. Both times it was light-medium winds and light-medium currents. Pulled the boat at 2+MPH at full speed and .5-1MPH at half speed. Was excited to use the trolling motor after install only to find out that it’s useless going against the current. Also, the trolling motor randomly shuts off. Very dangerous when the current is pushing you to a different direction and the trolling motor is off. The install was easy but one of the thread on screw hole was bad causing a stripped screw. I was missing the bolts for the quick release mount messaged them and they sent a hole new mount very good costumer service essential excepting that the motor is perfect for trolling on high speed I get 1.8mph on the low it gets .08 mph I can get about 6 hours of trolling on a full charged battery the only thing was I was searching for the gps model and this is the one that pulled up and didn’t read the full description so I thought it was gps boy I was wrong but that was my bad I still would recommend it to anyone can’t beat the price ... show more

Easy to install, easy to figure out the settings/buttons/controls. Doesn't have spotlock or GPS, but a good starter for anyone looking to upgrade from a foot pedal
