It’s pretty easy to put together. Be aware to not use the extended filter if you’re putting small fish in there since they can get caught. It’s looks amazing and the light is very sufficient for water plants. Noise is minimal in normal mode, a bit louder in extended mode. It works fine and the quality is alright. ... show more

Great little tank. I have shrimp and very small fish in here. I replaced the light it comes with for a full spectrum light for the live plants. Nano tanks can be difficult to keep water parameters where they should be but with a little reading you'll get it. Its on my desk for some needed zen

This tank is great. It comes with everything you need for a beginner. This is actually my second time attempting to be a fish keeper. This tank is better than my last. Instructions are simple . I have had this tank for 2 months now as well as my betta. Blue the betta is thriving. I placed two clippings of my pothos plant in the thank as well and it is also thriving. The aquarium looks really nice. It was packaged perfectly. I had a lot of home for this little fish home. Within a two weeks of set up, the filter stopped working. Everything else seems to be fine. If you buy because everything comes together and you don’t have to outsource the parts (like heater, light, filter and so on) you still will most likely have to buy pieces and parts. I tried to contact the seller with no luck. You may want to build your own tank instead. ... show more

This fish tank is great value as you get the heater, filter and tools for cleaning the tank. Filter quality is good and looks amazing. Not noisy at all and the size is perfect it can be placed anywhere you like. My betta fish is happy in its tank!

    • Great for beginners. Not a keeper for me.
We have 2 units. Great beginner start up. In my daughter’s tank the LED light was finicky - powers on and off like the cube it came with doesn’t give it enough power. BUT you NEED to use that cube to ensure that the heater can be powered in. I like that it came with a lid and feed hole. I don’t like how there are precuts in the back so you have to position the filter, light and heater in a very specific place. You don’t have free range of design for placement of those items.. if you choose to use the lid. The tinted backing looks beautiful, it took one step of having to add a background. The filter on the skimmer works half the time and the filter sounds like it has a hard time working. Cleaning is okay as long as your hardscape allows for it. Definitely will be upgrading. While entry level cost is good. I spent money to upgrade my light since I gave my cube to my daughter, and the filter. Keep that in mind, you get what you pay for. ... show more
