Bought this item expecting it to be bad quality and not work as advertised. It has a great underwater image on it, durable and compact. I use it ice fishing and put it about 3 feet from my lure in another hole. It has helped me find what the "finicky fish" want or are interested in and what they just swim right by. Battery lasted me 8 hours+ of constantly being on all day and is easy to plug in and charge after a long day of fishing. Nothing bad to say about it!     • Great camera for the price if you fish clear water
Fantastic, top notch customer service by Amazon. They really separate themselves from the rest of the companies out there when it comes to quality and customer service. I am sure this would be a great camera to use and for the price, who could argue. I have done extensive research and purchased this camera because side by side it appeared more clear than the Marcum and the more expensive model of the same line. However, what I didn't realize was the lakes I fish in are not the most clear. The color tends to show the water clarity making it difficult to see at lengths more than 8 feet out. For that reason, I had to go back to my b/w Markum camera and I was able to increase my visibility by quite a bit. If you know the lakes you will be fishing on are clear, than I couldn't imagine going with a more expensive camera without first trying this out. If your lakes are not clear, you may want to consider a b/w or the camera that has both options. tight lines... ... show more

This is a really nice underwater camera especially for icefishing. When received it had a broken corner on the base which was resolved immediately-great service. Can't wait to see those perch on Lake Simcoe and walleye on Saginaw bay!

It is "Ok". I've used this multiple times through the same hole as my friends Marcum, his consistently has a better picture. If you are in clear bright water, it works well, but not if it is at all murky. I do like the screen as opposed to the Marcum though. However, for a budget camera, it works fine ... show more
