Made the water taste fresh and easy to install. Works under the sink as well. Only thing is if you want to use for sinks you must get 1, 3/8’’ braided stainless steel inlet hose×1, 3/8’’ braided stainless steel outlet hose×1, clips and screws×1 set, cable tie mounts and cable ties×1 set. The direct connect hoses fit standard 3/8” water valves under US kitchen and bathroom sinks. (as pictured) ... show more

    • Good filter, so far. First time to use it.
Easy to install; says it lasts 5 years. I’m skeptical, but the ice maker filter I’ve been using for years has become less reliable; it only lasted 4 months this year. Hope this one is better. I dated the filter installation date and I’ll monitor it closely.

It was easy to install, but had one small issue, I install a connector on one end of the white water tube (that was supplied) and connected it to the value under the sink. All was fine until I was doing another project under the sink and I bumped the white tube and the connector came off and water shot out like Crazy so I change the hose or tube to another type and all was fine. The connectors to the filter are good, no problems with them, very easy to install. Thanks for a good product. ... show more

Product was easy to install. Ice tastes much better. My only issue I to have is that it seems to have cut the ice making in half. Without it the ice fills up pretty quick. With it installed it seems to slow down majorly. Not sure if others have had this issue. Love to know how they fixed it if they did. ... show more

    • It’s instillation could be explained more clearly
My water smells and tastes fine so I can’t rate this product on that. And, whether or not it removes microbes has to be determined by a lab. But, I can tell you that the mfg could do as simple video that would make this a breeze to install. Most videos on this product are a waste of time. If the ‘plugin’ fittings can be used then installed can be done in just a few minutes. What is needed from the mfg is a video that helps us determine the type of fittings we currently have and what is needed for drip free installation. After hours of head scratching I bought a variety pack of fittings and hoped that the right connectors were included. It had most everything needed. Additionally, I bought a shut-off T-valve to connect to the kitchen sink valve so the filter water source could be turned off while allowing the sink faucet to operate. I also bought a single sink water faucet to bring the filtered water to the sink because I didn’t want to use filtered water for every need. It too was easy to install. ... show more
