This is probably one of the most comfortable duvets I've ever used, very lightweight but also pretty fluffy to the touch. Yes, it may not look as fluffy as advertised but feels pretty plush and breathable! As a hot sleeper, it doesn't get too hot but it is notably a bit warm on the hotter nights, so warning advised for the hottest days during the summer. I can already tell I will get much better sleep once the temperatures really start to drop some! Now it does have a strong smell out of the box but once it's been a few days it won't be nearly as strong, and a duvet cover also seems to help plenty. It is also pretty crunchy but that is how it's supposed to feel brand new, it gets quieter over time as the cotton and feathers spread around inside and even out. However if you can't stand any crinkle sounds this might not be for you. Overall great duvet insert and highly recommend! ... show more

Takes a couple days after opening up the package for the comforter to fluff up and air out. Be patient, its very nice and very warm. It was actually too warm Ive been having to crack a window. Highly suggest this

I am a hot sleeper and this duvet is the perfect balance between fluffiness but not being too hot. LOVE this duvet. If you want it extra fluffy I would recommend sizing on size up from what your duvet cover is.

We bought this for my Mom who is now always cold at night. Her previous down comforter was over 20 years old and leaking feathers everywhere. This one has a high feather/down content and Mom reports even her feet are warm! It's also very lightweight and easy for her to handle.

I ordered this and in light of other reviews want to say - yes, it crinkled. But only a day or two. Now it's soft and as fluffy as a cloud. you do have to fluff it up every few days. If you are expecting this to look like the picture you will be disappointed. I was wanting it to be this big and defined - however - even though it is not, I still love this comforter. I would order it again. But if you are expecting the fluffiness of photo, you won't get that. ... show more
