False advertising! I’ve been searching for a heavyweight down comforter specifically and I was very excited about getting this but it’s not like the pictures, don’t be fooled. I grew up in Hungary sleeping all my life with real down comforters and this is not the feeling, warmth and look what I am expecting from a down comforter. I thought it was gonna be fluffy and tick like the pictures but It’s sooo thin, even worse then an alternate, it is literally see through, the cubes have barely any filling in them, it’s not distributed evenly, it’s not warm for the winter and I’m even doubting that the filling is actually down. Just got it. Fluffed well in cold dryer. Cover soft and silky feeling. Two issues: Product description says 8 corner tabs for holding duvet cover in place. At first I did not see them. But what they are is small loops at corners and middle of each side. So need cover with ties. Not all have those. Card enclosed says can wash whole thing. But tag says dry clean only. Q&A says spot clean and dry clean. Which is it? Responses seem to say cold wash possible, dry cleaning best. Confusing. ... show more

I think the picture says it all, no? This comforter is the best, most comfortable I have owned, and I have ordered several different down comforters off of Amazon. My cat enjoys it more than I get to but I look forward to sleeping with it every night. It's so soft, so fluffy, so warm yet so light, very well made and makes no noise, unlike our last down comforter. The cotton shell is so damn soft, we haven't wanted to put a Duvet Cover on it, though I know it is important to do. I'm also glad we chose the year round comforter because it's pretty warm as it is; any heavier and it would be way too much. I never write reviews this early on, as it has only been 2 weeks, but it's so far well deserved of 5 stars. We did tumble dry it for 15-20 minutes and that really fluffed it up. We also chose a king size for our queen bed and glad we did; it actually fits it very well and my boyfriend and I don't have to fight each other in the middle of the night for the covers. 😜 Highly, highly recommend this comforter! ... show more

Over the years I have spent a fortune on down comforters. I came upon this one that was highly rated and thought I would order it for my new king mattress. I'm very impressed with the material, it's super soft and the down is well distributed and fluffy. As it said on the instructions, it take a day or two for the fluff to appear. I gave my bed a complete make over. I purchased this comforter and was in love. It is so soft, comfortable, fluffy and light. I bought the Bluemoon Homes 1000 Thread Count Duvet Cover to protect it and my bed feels so amazing. I've had other down comforters, but non have felt as luxurious as this one! I was skeptical when I took it out of the packaging and it looked very thin. But I popped it in the dryer on "fluff, no heat" , for about 15 minutes and it came out so fluffy and soft. The next day it was even fluffier. Best sleep I have had in a long time, like sleeping under a cloud. I think I'm going to buy another for the bed in the guest bed room. ... show more
