    • Lovely & Relaxing Story For Children
My son Drew is in the first grade and loves how calming but informative this story is. They take a trip to an apple orchard, learn about different varieties of apples and then make a recipe. Just lovely!

I liked this book because it was especially easy for my preschool class to comprehend. They enjoyed the detailed cut paper pictures and could look at the illustrations and understand the story as it was being read. They could also look at the book on their own and enjoy the meaning of the book. A major delight and surprise was the chart about varieties of apples and what they are best used for, like for cider, baking or cooking, and how they taste. This book is not just a great apple recipe resource (with a song), but a fantastic family find. ... show more
