I wanted the original Ultra watch for the temp sensor that was removed in version 2. I love the watch, it is handsome and feels substantial on my wrist. Hindsight being what it is, I think I would’ve preferred the Ultra 2 increased battery performance. Overall, great purchase!

I was a little hesitant about buying this watch because of the price...but man oh man. I LOVE THIS THING. It pairs easily with my iphone, it's a breeze to use, its super durable and it gets 2 full days of battery life for me. I run and swim with it nearly every day and it tracks both activities VERY well. I have also knocked it a few times and the screen/casing show ZERO dings, scratches or dents. If you're looking for a new smart watch, this is the ONLY choice. Would recommend.

Wow!! Apple really outdid themselves with the Ultra!! This watch is a constant companion on my runs, to the pool, and even in bed. I love that my watch can replace my phone. Phone calls are crisp and clear. People can’t tell that I’m using a watch to talk with them. Texting is easily done using the larger screen or via dictation with Siri. It does an adequate job with my running metrics, recording those bits that are primarily important. It doesn’t do quite as much as my Garmin, but it sure beats having to port my phone to make those emergency calls. It’s helpful with measuring sleep, ECG, asymmetry in movement, and numerous health related information. The bonus is the extra battery life with each charge. I can do my long marathon training runs and still have enough battery life for calls and text. Typically, I charge my watch every other day, and have yet to experience running short on power. This watch is definitely worth every cent paid.
