Honestly had trouble connecting with it at first but I just reset it and I was able to connect it afterwards, works perfectly and I can send messages even with out the cellular connection so it’s perfect and it tracks when I’m walking. I’m still learning all this watch does. Besides telling time it connects to my phone and I can see calls emails texts and when my security cameras are activated the watch shows the pictures. I bought this refurbished Apple Watch Series 9 as a gift for my father-in-law and it completely exceeded expectations. The watch looked brand new right out of the box and the battery health was at 100 percent. It came with both a charging cable and a wall outlet adapter, which was a nice surprise since Apple doesn’t even include a wall plug when buying new in stores. Setup was quick and easy, and everything worked perfectly. My father-in-law loved it and uses it every day. For a refurbished item, this felt brand new in every way. Pros: This watch was exactly what I needed it for. Great for reminders, finding my phone, checking the time & weather, sleep info, etc. it’s almost identical to the Apple Watch 11’s specs for less than half the price. It’s an Apple product, it functions how it should as an Apple product. It comes with a charger and a band, but these are also cons stated later. Cons: Shipment was delayed by 2 days, not at the fault of the seller, just problems with weather. No harm. The watch may come with a band and a charger but the band is not the official Apple branded band and came in blue instead of black, like advertised. Very minor scuffs around the edges but nothing noticeable without looking for it specifically. The charging cable that came with was magnetic but wasn’t USB-C (it’s 2026, why are we using USB-A?) and it wasn’t the official Apple branded cord either. The cable it comes with made itself and my watch very warm to the touch after charging and due to it not being USB-C nor USB 3, it was much slower charging. I bought an apple cord and it’s always cold to the touch and charges twice as fast, although it was another $30 expense on my side. I had a friend give me his old Apple branded Apple Watch band, but if he had not that would’ve been another $50 expense on top totaling to around &310 after taxes and shipping fees. The reason I bring up Apple branded accessories is due to the quality assured by Apple. The third party charger works, but heats up the watch which is bad for battery life. The band is likely fine, but felt uncomfortable and due to how cheap it feels would likely cause some kind of rash, although that’s just assumption. It didn’t come in it’s original Apple box, but a regular Amazon cardboard box, which isn’t an issue if you don’t care about the “wow” factor of opening an Apple product (probably wouldn’t look super high quality under a Christmas tree haha). It also only came with 88% battery health (which if you can run that down to 80% in the first year Apple will replace it for free, so keep that in mind!), although other reviews have stated a wide variety, some getting 100% some getting 80%, it seems like it varies pretty heavy. At least with the battery life this low, it’s safe to assume it’s the original Apple battery and not something cheap that’ll catch my wrist on fire, whilst also staying within apples Apple Care TOS. Altogether, the product is still an Apple Watch, so you are getting what you paid for in that aspect, but there may be extra expenditures if you want the accessories to be quality and if you want your battery to last longer than 2 years. The seller is very good at responding to customers, although they’re pretty vague about questions about the accessories stating things such as “it’s compatible with the product you’ve bought” which doesn’t answer the question if it’s official Apple merchandise. It is a real Apple Watch though! Great buy, still cheaper than the 11 with all the features I wanted. The 3 stars is more about the seller and what they had control over rather than if the Apple Watch is good. It’s an Apple Watch, you’re not reading a review about something that’s 2 generations old to know if it’s gonna behave like an Apple Watch. It does. Hopefully in the future they’ll provide you with a less cheap cable, keep the original watch band, and replace the battery. It’s refurbished; replace the battery. ... show more
