Great Mouse But Did Not Work
The red light on the mouse did not come on when I plugged it in. So I hooked my old mouse back up by the way which is the same mouse. I bought one as a backup. But I am sending it back. I am still waiting for a shipping label to come in the mail so I can send it back. I cannot print one out since I do not have a printer.

Worked for almost three months--Bummer!
Boutght March 2026. Started Periodically shutting itself off by June 2026. Can be using and the red--working--light goes off and have to disconnect from computer and reconnect over and over. Save your money. Really like the wired mouse but does not last when refurbished.

For older Macs, this is worth the buy. Do not compromise by buying newer mice on old stuff.
There is no substitute for the feel and function of the original iMac mouses. Even the the McCally brand works for both keyboards and mouses on old hardware, the feel is noticeably different than this, the original, so at some point I decided enough was enough with McCally mice and decided to keep the keyboard and connect these real mice. 100% totally worth it. Don't worry about mixing products if you're an old mac enthusiast. Buy the McCally's but also buy this separately for the original feel and function of your old hardware. McCally mice are for newer stuff. This is the mouse to have if you are operating old macs.

Wired mouse, great backup option for when the cordless mouse stops responding to iMAC.
Works fine. I got this wired mouse as a backup, second mouse. For some reason, my cordless mouse would stop responding to my iMac if left on awhile; I would have to shut down my whole computer to get the cordless Bluetooth mouse responding again, got tired of this. With the wired mouse I can plug it in to my iMac/desktop when the cordless mouse won't work, it seems to reset it or something because it'll get the cordless mouse working again without having to shut down the computer which got annoying. Some reviews have mentioned how short the cord is AND it is on the shorter end but I guess it works out, less clutter on my desk and my computer isn't that far from my keyboard and mouse pad anyway so doesn't affect my work flow.

Not what I would call Excellent condition
The Mighty Mouse is hands down my favorite mouse. So when I found this one in "excellent" condition I thought I'd take the chance. Well... the ball on top only scrolls about half the time. Side to side it's fine, but up and down it's not. I've already started using the elevator bars (again) because the scrolling up and down movement is choppy / stutters, etc. So frustrating. Seems all these mighty mice tend to to that with age, but I expected more for "excellent".
