  • Top quality
Style: Quadrant
Quality design and fabrication, ideal for the Fenix or FBW 320 in MSFS. The detents and reverse have a nice clicking sound and the item feels sturdy.

  • A bit of realism for the Airbus plane.
Style: Quadrant
I love the Airbus flight stick. So, it was a no-brainer to get the TCA quadrant. I will admit that my digital experience with flying the Airbus is extremely limited, and I mostly fly single-engine aircraft. So how will this quadrant compliment the already-great performance of the stick? Well, as I found out, it really varies depending on what you fly most. The quadrant itself is made of some durable plastic and is rather light. I wished it had a heavier base though. The buttons are clicky and responsive for the most part. The switches are plastic but seem that they will take some heavy use. The throttle has resistance options, although I would've liked to see a bit more resistance since the sensitivity can be off most of the time. The dual throttle levers can also be linked so that they can be used as a single-engine lever. The quadrant is connected via a USB-C to USB-A cord that has some good length, separately from the stick. I like that itโ€™s a plug-and-play device as Windows and MS Flight Simulator recognized it immediately. Since I mostly like taking sight-seeing trips in a C152 or C172, I honestly think that the throttle control on the flight stick works better. Even after extensive tinkering with the sensitivity, button assignments, and throttle control on the quadrant, I found it cumbersome and inaccurate. Again, I am focusing on basic aircraft. However, now that I am dabbling in more complex aircraft such as the Airbus, this quadrant has become extremely valuable. Although I still had to mess around with the options (physically and in-game), it seemed to me that it was more natural, and the quadrant felt like a necessity after a couple of flights. Still, I wouldโ€™ve liked for the quadrant to have more stability as raising the throttle can tip it. I ended up using a board and taped the base to it. In the end, if you fly the smaller, single-engine planes, this may be a pass, especially if you already have a good stick with throttle (or donโ€™t mind doing it with the keyboard/mouse). However, if you fly anything with a throttle lever or dual engine planes, specifically the Airbus, this is a must-have accessory. I might even consider completing the entire quadrant with the other components. ... show more

  • works really awesome
Style: Quadrant
throttles, add-on spoiler and flaps works awesome without using keyboard or joystick buttons and I had decide to use that throttle and spoiler and flaps to purchased and this making lot easier for me to use and button and keyboard easy to confused which one that you want to use and this change my habit and those flaps and spoiler not getting any confused but you can look which you want to use and much easier. yes you can use flight simulator 2020 (Microsoft), flight simulator X or X steam edition, of course X-planes and any that are related to flight simulators. 2002/2004 flight simulator also I think but you can try and I have not tried that 2002 or 2004 flight simulators but I hope you guys have that to try and yes you have my permission to add to my messages about 2002 or 2004 flight simulators only nothing else. ... show more

  • Decent when you get It working properly(using with FSX)
Style: Quadrant
I got this throttle to complement my Airbus stick. It does work when its set up correctly(for the most part) It was not dead on arrival which is always my first concern before trying a new electronic thing. Programming is a complete mess out of the box. The throttle axis is not programmed where its supposed to be out of the box. Instead the three notches that act like programable buttons were mapped as flaps down(notch one) gear up/down(notch two) and view change(notch three) by default and to make things even more frustrating the reverse thrust levers and the reverse notch on the throttle are not programable making it almost impossible to setup reverse thrust. Another issue is it reads as a joy stick by default and was not programed to read as a throttle quadrant so it will take over the main stick in TacPack(FSX combat simulator addon) so I have to remap the fire and pickle button back to the stick every time. The throttle axis is nearly impossible to get 100% trued to the in game throttle. I have the null setting set to minimum and sensitivity set to max and its still off by 10% and it won't go below reverse thrust unless you map button 16 or 17(the lowest throttle position) as decrease thrust. Its just horrendous programming and poor calibration done on Thrustmasters part and general issues with FSX. The tool they provide for calibration is of absolutely no help unless you are just looking for what buttons are where. Over all its a decent attempt at making a flight sim throttle quadrant LOOK like an Airbus A321 throttle but the out of the box programming was just a horrendous mess. If they just took more time getting the programming better and have it behave like a throttle quadrant should it would be a great Airbus themed throttle. ... show more

  • Tiny but Mighty
Style: Quadrant
I own the thrust master Joystick and I just purchased the throttle after the long awaited "out of stock" time. once I got it I seen that it was TINY I thought it would be the same size as the joystick but NO it's TINY like the length of a 60 oz bottle of coke tiny. Either way I like it, I'm very OCD about my space on my desk and the fact that it's not bulky is a space saver, and is amazing in sim. I have Xplane 11 and It works fantastic with the airbus products we have on the market. I can't wait to use it more on flights across the pond with the A321 XLR fleet. This product is amazing and I love it. the only downside is I wish the Engine Ignition buttons below the fuel switches would light up indicating which engine has a "fire" or something like Green for good engine or flashing Red for bad engine ya know. The knobs and levers are great, i'm happy with the fact you can tighten up the renaissance of the throttles to make it feel more life like. over all 5 out of 5. ... show more
