DONT BUY!! it seems good at first, in fact great. not even a few months into having it, there were shadows shining from the bottom of the screen.. until it shut off completely. the touch bar and keyboard lights would turn on, and it would make noises when i would try to turn up and down the volume. after talking to my friend who knows a lot about electronics, he told me the backlight died. NOT WORTH IT!! YOU CAN SEE THE SHADOWS IN THE FIRST PICTURE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY!! THE SECOND PICTURE IS WHEN THE BACKLIGHT COMPLETELY DIED. ... show more

Cosmetically, this laptop is great. Could pass as a brand new laptop honestly. This laptop even has 1 TB of storage (1,000 gb) so even more than was advertised! Guess I got lucky lol. Everything seems perfect but the only thing that keeps it from 5 stars is the fact that laptop is saying “battery needs service”. I checked the cycle count in the system and it only has 84 cycles which is very low for an older computer (Mac’s can go up to 1,000 cycles) so I plan on calibrating the battery because maybe there was a battery replacement but they just didn’t calibrate before selling? All in all everything seems perfect so far very smooth laptop. Will check back later to see if battery continues to operate smoothly. This is an older computer (2016 Mac) so proper battery replacement will not be cheap if needed😬. Apple no longer supports this model either (cutoff is 2017) so battery replacement would have to be a third party. ... show more

What a great value for the money. My son was wanting this exact macbook for the overall screen quality, processor speed, size, and design. Very durable and somewhat scratch resistant, this MacBook is performing well for a very picky teenager.

I bought this laptop. And 2 of the keys don’t work. I called the sellers. Left a message. Never got a response back. I don’t recommend buying anything from these irresponsible people. Too bad it came thru AMAZON site and name.

It works pretty good but I payed extra for the excellent condition and it has two keys that are scratched up, the shift key is wonky and doesn’t work sometimes and the battery goes bit too fast
