I wanted to do the right thing and help the planet by buying a refurbished phone. I really was hoping for the best on this. First the phone came in a padded envelope with a thin cardboard box (crushed, not the hard protective box the original phone comes in), also a micro thin layer of plastic molded to fit a much larger phone. This sort of says it all but wait - there was a big scratch on the screen; gee how did that happen? Well I was lucky to have have a scratch on the screen to give me something to look at as the display did not work at all - nope no display. The audio did work as the phone was talking to me constantly in Spanish. I was dubious UPS would even accept the return as the phone kept talking every time the phone was moved, but fortunately they did. I will credit the seller for refunding what I paid for it but there is no excuse for this kind of nonsense of a faulty device with poor packing. Save your money and buy a new one. ... show more

I bought it because my iPhone 7 was starting to go out on me. It’s the same size and thickness as the 7 so I was able to use my old case on this phone. The battery health is still at 100%, it’s been refurbished but it’s literally brand new. No scratches or cracks. The only thing I can’t figure out is if this thing has facial recognition. Came with no scratches, fully unlocked as advertised, and with all the regular apple accessories. Update - Still running with this phone and no plans to replace anytime soon. Still runs nicely after almost a year. Great phone, top quality.

    • Beware of hidden damage

BEWARE. Amazon renewed. Product was received with lots of scratches to screen. part of renew process is to HIDE damage. Screen was covered with a screen protector specifically designed to hide damage. It wasn’t the standard screen protector that stops in 8th inch or so from the edge of the screen. Instead it extended all the way to the edge of the screen and contain black bars at the top and bottom to cover up the area around the speaker and the button. Since you cannot normally buy these aftermarket, I have to include it in the design specifically for the purpose of hiding damage. Incidentally we also purchased an iPhone XR through Amazon renewed and it had a similar screen protector that went all the way to the edge with it blacked out over the areas where the screen would be black. In this case I put a regular clear screen by tactor on the phone and could not see any air bubbles or scratches through the screen protector so I decided to keep it. Just beware if you purchase one of these that you should remove the Amazon renewed screen protector it comes with and look closely underneath. You may decide that you want to utilize your 90 day return window and get a different phone.Besides this the phone seem to be in good condition with 90% battery life remaining and has worked flawlessly. Because of the blatant attempt to high damage, I am only giving two stars because it seems a bit underhanded. ... show more

Bought this with high expectations and came away disappointed. The unit came with deep scratches front and back that obviously did not buff out. If you're OK with a 50 to 60 dollar savings for a phone in working condition but not great cosmetically then this is for you. Returned.

Works great. Just as expected. No lagging or freezing. Great price for what you get. If you don’t mind not having the fancy camera, this is a great choice. This is much smaller too so it actually fits in your pocket.

My previous phone was the 1st generation iPhone SE, which I loved. This 2nd generation iPhone SE is great so far. Awesome screen, 5Ge network is super fast, new touch button works great (love not having to do Face ID), big fan of the moisture proofing. This seller is awesome. They also included a free case and free screen protector with my purchase. However, I was slightly disappointed in the optimal battery life being a bit low at 92%. It’s not terrible by any means, but the main reason I chose to upgrade was for better battery life. This is the only reason I didn’t give the phone 5 stars. ... show more
