Guys, this phone has been talked to death. All I can say is that in the “value for the money” arena, it’s on my short list of times I haven’t gotten hosed. The phone was in perfect condition, unused, as-new condition on arrival, it’s still that way. Flawless. Perfect. Battery had 7 cycles on it. It screams through everything I’ve put to it. The screen is beautiful. The images are amazing. I was looking at some neon stained critters against the perfect blackness and I said “Wow” out loud. I order a new case and screen protectors whenever I buy a phone. Sometimes I order them way before. I won’t use the phone until it’s protected. Always a screen protector. I go through lots. I’ve been using glass but for years I used the Robo-Armor-something rubber stuff they use on helicopter blades. It covers the entire phone. Then I’d drop it in a good case and I never had to replace the stuff. It can take a million scratches and they’re gone come morning, if not immediately. I’m babbling. It’s because I’m thrilled. Perfect gift, I was worried about the condition, it was the first time I bought something "renewed" but it exceeded my expectations, it arrives with 100% of battery and only 4 cycles, I was impressed! it didn't arrive in the original box at all, but at least the usb cable looks original, it works perfectly fine, still under the 1-year warranty until June 2026, another surprise! physically looks in perfect conditions, no scratches, no dents, just a few really REALLY tiny minor scratches in the screen, but really tiny, barely perceptible only if you put really attention under direct light with the screen turned off, I must mention it but really, perfect conditions, I would say that the screen is 99.9% perfect conditions, anyways we have installed a tempered glass and a case, but this is a phone that everyone who wants an iphone with the latest OS versions and features (such apple intelligence) but don't want to spend the 1k for the latest phone, should buy! and last but not least, this phone doesn't has built in magsafe (remember, magsafe is just the magnetic ring), but it perfectly supports wireless charging, I don't know anybody who uses their phone without a case, so as simply as using a case with magsafe support, you won't even notice that the phone itself doesn't has magsafe! ... show more

On the one hand, what Apple is offering here is near-Pro level quality in some respects, including some new features and a nearly-as-fast processor that’s arguably more power than most people need in a smartphone anyway. In that respect it’s excellent value, especially if you’re upgrading from an iPhone model at least 3 years old or more. On the other hand, this is an Apple iPhone, and it’s not inexpensive, and relative to what you can get for the same kind of money there are some notable omissions in the feature set left aside to make the Pro models even more attractive. I can’t ignore that, which means it’s simultaneously not great value on that score. What that leaves me with is an iPhone that might be great for some buyers, and awful for others. Picked up a "refurbished/Like new" Iphone 16e for a smidge over $300, retail for a new 16e is $599. Received it today and indeed, it looks "like new", has 100% battery capacity with 90 charges. It even has about 4 months of the Apple Warranty left on it. Killer deal. Phone is locked to At&t but, was able to be used with Cricket (At&t owns Cricket). All in all, buying refurbished seems to be a solid deal as long as you check seller ratings and pay attention to the stated condition of said device. ... show more

I upgraded from the iPhone SE 2020 to the iPhone 16e, and the difference is night and day. The design feels sleek and lightweight but still solid in the hand. The display is bigger, brighter, and way smoother than what I was used to, which makes streaming, gaming, and even just scrolling so much more enjoyable. Performance is incredibly fast compared to my old SE—apps open instantly, multitasking is smooth, and I notice zero lag. The battery life is also a huge improvement; I can comfortably make it through a full day, which wasn’t always the case before. The camera is another major upgrade. Photos come out sharp with great color, and low-light pictures are way better than what my SE could do. It’s been fun actually wanting to take more photos. The only small downsides for me are the price (as usual with Apple) and that charging still isn’t the fastest compared to other brands. But those things don’t outweigh all the positives. Overall, coming from the iPhone SE 2020, the iPhone 16e feels like a massive step up. I’m really happy with the switch and would definitely recommend it. ... show more

Happier than I expected! Beautiful condition, practically new. The battery has 100% health. The screen had minor scratches that would go unnoticeable apart from intent inspection. Grateful! Only hiccup was the phone transfer - I transferred from a 256 gb to this 128 gb and had some issues even though my old phone was well under the 128gb threshold yet said otherwise during the first two transfers. I had to offload quite a bit to successfully transfer but it worked out in the end - something to be mindful of. ... show more
