This is a great phone. I upgraded from a xr to this. It’s not any different that I can tell besides moving a bit faster. I will say (idk if it’s just the phone I received or if it’s a common issue with this model) sometimes the volume buttons will get stuck. I’ll press up or down once or twice and it’ll go all the way up or all the way down. But this is a sturdy phone. I’m very clumsy and I’ve dropped it so many times and I don’t have any cracks, scratches, or anything. I have a thin case so I expected it but it’s still looking brand new. It's January, 2024. I wanted to replace my son's years-old iPhone 6, I couldn't afford to get him an iPhone 15. I settled on the iPhone 12 max pro because it hit the sweet spot for price (a shade over $500). The phone was advertised as a refurb in 'premium' condition. It arrived a couple days early, and was in premium condition - just a little scuffing on the right upper bezel. Other than that, the phone looks brand new. Battery life is over 90%, as advertised.
