    • Fraud! Total scam! Do not buy
Fraud! Total scam! Do not buy I purchased a Iphone 11Pro 512 KGB unlocked, silver phone from the vendor “Amazon Renewed”. I wish I had read more of the reviews before I made this $500+ purchase. Instead they shipped me a green Iphone with only 64 GB. When I received the phone - which was clearly and obviously visually not the one I had purchased given its GREEN color – I considered keeping it because the color was not critically important. BUT the phone had only 64 gb not the 512 I had purchased. I immediately initiated a return stating that the wrong phone was shipped. All I wanted was the phone I had purchased which explained in the “reason for return”, item not as described.” I expected a swap after the vendor received the return. Instead, the closed the complaint and accused me of shipping back a different phone and trying to scam them. They also said they “are discarding the item you sent and would be happy to accept the return of the correct item” Had they sent the correct item I would not have initiated the return. So now I have no phone and no money. Based on other reviews this is not an uncommon occurrence. Perhaps the order was misboxed in which case they would have the IMEI number for the returned phone and would know to whom it should have been sent. Amazon’s logistics are v ery thorough and sophisticated. I am sure that the IMEI numbers of the phones are in their database. I suspect that instead of “discarding” the phone as they stated they reboxed it and shipped it to some other sucker. Unless they tested it and it was not working in which case they sold and shipped to me a non-functional item – NOT what was advertised-…still fraud, just a different one. I will be contacting credit card company to reverse charge and will never use “Amazon Renewed” again ... show more
