This is my first time ever having a Magic Keyboard + buying something open boxed or refurbished. WOW! I am very very happy with my purchase. This almost looks like it’s never been used before. No scratches, very clean, and even came with the box! I feel really happy getting this instead of the other popular brand ones. I had previously owned a popular off brand iPad keyboard for my 13inch iPad and even though it worked and had nice backlighting, it felt very cheap to the touch. I wasn’t even considering getting a keyboard but honestly since i use my iPad for school all the time, I definitely needed this. This was worth spending a little extra for! Feels stable when typing, charger port works wonderfully, no issues connecting at all, and just looks beautiful! I will say the only thing that does suck is the weight of it, but that’s something i can deal with considering i bring a 15 inch laptop with me to school everyday. This will definitely save my shoulders on the days i don’t need to bring a full laptop but still want the keyboard/portability factor. This seller is very legit! Thank you so much. As a regular patron of electronics purchased through Amazon I suppose I consider myself and experienced and, I hope, discerning customer. Like many people I enjoy owning premium brands but always try to find the best price, and this often leads me to consider buying refurbished or renewed electronics, and with one exception all of my many such acquisitions have proven to be excellent. The result is that I trust Amazon Renewed (and Renewed Premium), or if I can find them at good prices, Amazon Refurbished (manufacturer's restoration usually including, new batteries, packaging and all cosmetics brought to as-new condition). Over the past couple of years I've begun major convertions to the Apple Ecosystem including 2 iPad Pros of vintages about 3 years apart, along with their associated Magic Keyboards (all 4 were Renewed and each have been physically flawless and have performed perfectly while I've saved hundreds); an Apple Watch Ultra 2 (Refurbished, arrived in brand new packaging and indistinguishable from the more expensive "new" item), at one point an older MacBook Air (refurbished and again, perfect; I ended up reselling it but not due to any shortcomings of any kind related the machine). Now, I'm not a paid Amazon Renewed marketing pro and I do often buy new electronics (such as my exceptional LG OLED TV), as there are some products I consider too potentially cantankerous to risk buying "used" or "pre-owned" or refubished, and a television is one of those. My Asus laptop I was able to obtain at Black Friday pricing and didn't feel the need to explore the renewed possibilities too strenuously, and I've been very pleased with both of those as well as other big-ticket electronics purchases. The point of my comments today are that I just received my refurbished iPad Pro 11 inch M5 and its Magic Keyboard Case. The packaging being slightly less than pristine were the only indications of any kind that these were not brand spanking new perfect Apple products, once again justifying my faith in Amazon Renewed. My purpose is to report of the success of this buying philosophy, and to acknowledge Amazon for their integrity in this an other realms of their extraordinary business. I'm sure there are a million horror stories among their billions of sales but my experience has been almost universally positive, and this includes a large number of purchases of a variety of items big and small, as well as a considerable numberr of returns, a few for exchanges, and quite a few for refunds; Amazon has generally paid the refund by midnight of the day I've dropped off or shipped the return, and I think this is a great business practice. In any case at this point the renewed Magic Keyboard and iPad Pro are as perfect as they can be. ... show more

This case is a restored case and it does not charge up as easily as a new one does, so sometimes I have to use the iPad charger to charge it up with. Other than that, the case is like new and works perfectly.

I like the esr for cost but the loss of a charging port on the keyboard for the iPad is a deal breaker for me. This keyboard feels very premium and sturdy. It also came packaged with the original box and the keyboard itself was not dirty at all. I was honestly surprised because this white keyboard is easier to get get dirty. ... show more

    • A Step Up from Cheaper Knock-off Keyboards.

I switched out a cheaper, no-name brand of keyboard sold on Amazon with good reviews, but I am glad I made the switch. The old keyboard had lag, meaning I had to always hit a few keys and wait for it to connect to use it. Also, I made a lot of typos because keys didn’t always register a touch and the angle was odd if using in bed, meaning it didn’t hinge enough to see the screen and the keyboard at the same time. Finally the delete button broke off, but the button would still work without the key, but using the old keyboard was frustrating. The Apple pro keyboard fixes all of those issues and has function keys. It also feels a lot more solid and it’s easy to feel the keys and not make typos. I bought the refurbished one at a 30% or so savings, and wish I had done that the first time. As soon as I attached this keyboard, it was on and functioning automatically and instantly. Getting rid of the lag was worth the upgrade alone as it was very frustrating to start typing and have it not connect right away. ... show more
