I initially purchased the AirPods 4 which came with a standard case but no charging cord. That case could not be charged wirelessly. The sound was ok but the reason I returned them is they kept falling out of my ears. I heard that the AirPod 3 were actually slightly larger so I thought I would give them a try because of having larger ears. I like that the AirPod 3 case can be wirelessly charged and that they also come with a charging cord. These AirPods actually stayed in my ears, and to me, I think they sound better. This may be because of the better fit. My only con is I wish the case would standup-right. I will never buy an apple product from amazon again I got these airpods gen 3 on august 28 2025 they stay on for an hour and then dead I called amazon two weeks ago and they told me nothing they can do because my warranty is up it’s only been two months what a waste of money and time never again.
