So far so good I got the premium and it still had 2 months of apple care. I haven’t had a ton of time to mess around on it yet but as far as I can tell it’s in great condition, it’s fast, not too heavy or light and is built fairly sturdy, the Battery had 93% capacity and it was easy to set up and log in. It had minor scratches and scuffing around some edges. I’ll update when I’ve set it up and used it a little more but if you get one I’d opt for the premium referb opposed to the excellent. ... show more

Buying refurbished is always a bit of a dice roll. I knew I would get a working product, but I wasn't sure what it's condition would be. I should note that the one I bought was labeled "renewed premium" which basically means, for its condition, it has received the seller's highest possible rating. That means: extremely minimal signs of wear externally, and a battery life that is at least at 90% (meaning, due to use, it has gone down to no more less than 90% of its original capacity). I should also note that the seller in this case was Amazon, which is a lot more reliable, and easier to make returns with. The device had a few scuffs on the body, very small, the kind of thing that I probably would have done myself through normal use within about 3 months of owning it. The battery had 153 cycles on it, and it's overall life capacity was 93%. In terms of the scuffs, I was expecting that more from the "renewed" category than "renewed premium" but I'm not very picky about that kind of thing, which helps when you're buying refurbished. Everything seems to work great, it's a Macbook. I spent $913 in March of 2025, and at that price point still feel like I got a good deal. ... show more

I’ve owned mine for a little over a year now (premium refurbished,) and this laptop has been an absolutely charm. I’m usually wary of branded products and their hype to quality ratio- especially when it’s a brand as big as apple. However, in this instance, the hefty $1599 price STILL has mean feeling like I got a deal. Not a bot, just a happy customer :) Battery Health as of today - 90% (my fault. repeated cold exposure) Sound system still operating great and honestly the most impressive part of this laptop are the speakers. There were popping/clicking sounds coming from the speakers early when first bought, but this was a software issue I resolved via updates (tldr no hardware issues to date) ... show more

El producto es bueno, solo que como categoría premium se tiene mucha expectativa y realmente no es premium, lo que recibes a pesar de que Amazon aseguraba que venia con su caja original y accesorios y lucir como nuevo y funcionar como nuevo la realidad es otra. ): Mi unidad llego en una caja alternativa de Amazon renewed y no como se describía ''Looks and functions as if it were new. Item will come in original packaging'' estaba super empolvada y sucia, llego con la batería muerta al punto que no encendía, al principio me preocupe ya que el cargado y el cable que llegaron eran genéricos y no funcionan con la MacBook el equipo no se cargaba ya que el cargador aparentemente vino defectuoso, para mi suerte pude cargarlo con un cargador de Razer que tengo. luego de limpiar y descubrir algunas rayaduras y signos de desgaste y que no luce como nuevo quede un poco decepcionado. pero bueno el signo de desgaste que lleva es razonable si no te importa tanto lo estético y lo funcional te servirá. La condición de la batería llego con 465 Ciclos y 92% de salud. Esa es la experiencia que tuve de desempaquetado luego de limpiarlo profundamente e instalarle los accesorios (Vidrio protector spiguen, protector de teclado, almohadilla protectora y case) que compre junto con el equipo quedo satisfecho un 90% el 10% que falto podría haberse logrado si me hubiese tocado al menos una unidad que venga limpia y con accesorios originales como cable y cabeza del cargador.
