The material is actually quite thick and warm, and the stitching around the edges is surprisingly well done—it looks much more expensive than it is. I did iron it lightly when it arrived just to smooth out the packaging creases, but once that was done, the fit and length were perfect. He was able to dance and move around comfortably in it all night, and he got so many compliments! It has that true vintage look without feeling like a flimsy costume piece. Well made Steampunk cosplay coat

Not to be used for real weather protection because the coat is not intended to be button closed, and the external "pockets" are just decorative flaps. But the workmanship of the tailoring and quality of the fabric are very, very, good. The paisley texture actually gives off a sheen when light hits the coat from an angle. The embossed buttons are plastic but the chrome finish gives them a genuine metal look. If you're looking for an excellent Victorian-style coat for Steampunk or Goth cosplay this is a great choice. I wore it for a Halloween party this year and received many comments on how "cool" the coat looked.

Great jacket true to size. He is 6 foot one and broad with shoulders. Wonderful color, the paisley is thick. Keep in mind it is not lined and you can’t close the jacket however, for the price you can’t beat it. We were super cute as steampunk lion tamer and Lioness. The pictures are not doing it justice. I like it so much I’m thinking of getting it tailored my size as a flair jacket.

I'm a big guy so don't let that effect your purchase. There is no slot for the buttons. And I couldn't put my hands together the back material is tight. Other than that a very beautiful jacket, well colored and designed and good material. The size is the only problem.

The coat is perfect for a buccaneers costume. Looks like it should cost much more. Makes you feel like you should have pockets full of gold doubloons. Then you realize it’s a fake tailcoat, the pockets are fake and you’re not really a pirate.

I was surprised by the quality of this jacket. Solid medium-weight jacket for a costume. Unfortunately, the jacket is not lined so there are exposed seams on the inside. Just something to note if that's something you're curious about. However, it worked in my favor because I wanted to add my own lining.
