I’ve used apiguard trays before and they are so easy! This time I used them as a half dose and it was still as equally easy. If you’re a new beekeeper, this is one of the easiest ways to treat your hives. Make sure you follow the instructions.

Do not use this in a small, or just established hive. This product will kill some bees, and depending on the size of your colony, it can be problematic. Other than that, they work good.

    • Mite treatment made easy!
If you are starting your beekeeping journey, I would definitely recommend these to use when treating your hives. They are simple and straightforward. Open the packages before putting your gloves on because it is nearly impossible otherwise. Then simply put IN BETWEEN your brood boxes (you can not have honey supers on though!!!) Thymol worked like a charm, went from mite counts of 15,10,8,4, and 7 to 0 in all. would follow the advice of Bon Binnie on YouTube. He offers great insight on using this product.

Used this product, as instructed, on three different hives. One hive was dead when I next checked on them to switch the product packages. The other two hives are thriving.
