Get the 6x6 instead of the 8x6 as all the 8 feet section pieces came in 2x 4 feet sections which must be joined together and hard to get straight, adding a lot more work to join these 4 feet pieces to make 8 feet pieces. Need to drill 4 holes for the top (scaffold) main beam. Due to joining 2x 4 feet sections, the rain gutter has a gap in the middle. Some pieces came bent presumably from shipping due to very light gauge aluminum extrusions. Captive channels for bolt heads are a little too deep and hard to get lock washer and nut onto the bolt. A few suggestion for assembly: 1. Insert screws, loosely secure nuts and lock washers on the scaffold main beam. It makes inserting lateral beams easier. 2. Use a small piece of tape to hold the extra bolts (5 & 6 bolts) in the scaffold lateral beams from sliding down to your work area. 3. The 4 corner posts all go outside and the horizontal beams go inside. Instruction pictorials are hard to tell. 4. Pictures 5.3, 5.4 made the door rail support post 14A slanted. Mount this piece upside down to make it vertical. 5. I live in a high wind area and panels popped out in the 2nd night. 6 wire clips (#14) and 2 bottom plastic clips (#17) for A4 wall panels may not be enough, increase to 8 and 3. 6. The two movable panels came off several times. Use a bungee cord to secure them. 7. The 2 D4 panels below movable panels are a bit too long. Trim off 1/2 inch and adjust the horizontal 10A beams will made the movable panel fit tight and flat. 8. Adjust the left side peg (#25) so that it can catch the 2nd to last hole in the movable panel handle (#13). This should be the means to hold it shut, see picture. 9. As the panels came off mostly from internal air pressure rather than external pressure. It is important to seal the bottom edge around the base. You must love turning screws and bolts to assemble this kit. All in all the 6x6 kit must be much easier to assembly. Added 12/12/2021: Strong wind came last night. One panel and door blew out. That panel had 8 wire clips, 4 each side, and 4 plastic clips, 2 top and bottom each. Same corner panel blew out before. I replaced the panel and added two more plastic clips to 6 total, 3 top and bottom each. No significant damage to the door. It is important to seal the bottom. ... show more

    • Cheap, flimsy, not likely to last
My sister and I bought this for our mom and we started putting it together today. It is taking forever because parts are mislabeled, the instructions are useless (the instructions for the door literally just said "assemble door and set aside for later use"), the photos don't give specific or detailed directions (does part A go on top of B at the corner or the other way around? Things like that. It doesn't clarify), and the part that is shown in the instructions looks different to the part they sent (one part on the door frame should have been "h" shaped, but was actually "I" shaped. The instructions that were included are for the 4x6 greenhouse, not for the 6x8, so they aren't even the right ones, which adds to the confusion and inaccuracy. Furthermore, the aluminum is very thin and easily bent, and a lot of the pieces are coming out of the box with dents or bends in them that we are having to fix as we go. It is also missing some screws, so we had to get screws to finish the door frame. We spent 3 hours working on this today and we managed to do the base, the 2 vent windows, and the door frame. We are extremely capable when it comes to building things, so it's not because we're clueless with sort of things. This has been very frustrating and slow-going, and we haven't even started on the sides or roof yet. What a nightmare! I will say that after reading the issues people were having with their greenhouses blowing over in breezy and high-wind weather, I decided to anchor our house using dog tie-out stakes that you screw into the ground. We'll have 1 near each corner and a wire tie-out cable from the front left stake to the front right stake and another cable from the back left to the back right stake. I think this will help hold the greenhouse in place better during high winds. I'd hate for this thing to blow over and get destroyed after being such a headache to put together! At this point, I would not buy this again or recommend. Maybe once it's all together it will be more sturdy as a whole unit, especially when anchored properly, but right now I am really dissatisfied with this. I BOUGHT THIS GREENHOUSE FOR MY DAD IN MEMORY OF MY GRANDMOTHER THAT RECENTLY PASSED AWAY. SHE WAS A TRUE "GREEN THUMB". I LIVE OUT OF STATE AND I DIDNT FEEL RIGHT ABOUT NOT HELPING HIM PUT IT TOGETHER. SO I PLANNED A 3 DAY WEEKEND TO HELP HIM PUT IT TOGETHER. WE WORKED ON THIS FOR 2 DAYS STARIGHT, AND IT RAINNED ON THE 3RD DAY SO WE DIDNT GET TO WORK ON IT. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT. HOWEVER, IF ANY IMPROVEMENTS COULD BE MADE, IT WOULD BE THE INSTRUCTIONS. IT IS BLACK AND WHITE PICTURES ONLY. NO DISCRIPTIONS AND YOU CAN NOT TELL WHICH WAY THE BARS FACE OR WHICH WAY THE SCREWS GO. AFTER 2 DAYS, I HAD TO GO HOME LEAVING MY DAD WITH UNFINISHED PRODUCT. WE PUT TOGETHER AND TORE APART MORE TIMES THAN I CAN COUNT. LITTLE BY LITTLE HE WORKED ON IT IN THE EVENINGS FOR THE NEXT WEEK. IT WAS NOT EASY. BUT, IN THE END, WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH A GREAT PRODUCT. TO HELP YOU OUT...THE SCREWS GO IN FROM THE OUTSIDE AND THE NUTS ARE ON THE INSIDE OF GREENHOUSE.
