This review and rating is for just the face mask. The googles aren't much to write about, but they are comfortable and do withstand the impact, and unfortunately fog up pretty bad. I just use shooter glasses instead. I use this for pro level competitive Nerf (200+ FPS 1.3g darts at near 2 joules of energy) The face mask has a nice steel wire mesh that is inflexible and offers solid protection that definitely holds up to abuse. The paint covering the steel of the face mask is pretty durable, but I would imagine this would wear against solid projectiles like airsoft BBs exposing the metal underneath. That possible exposure wouldn't really lower the durability but could lead to other issues like rust. The holes in the mesh on these seem small enough that worry about airsoft BB shattering but still allow a lot of breathability and speaking without the muffling that comes from other face protection. The Face mask aligns well with my jawline and the core pad of the adjustable straps sits on the crown of your head. I had some issues with this sliding on my hair, but I wear a hat with it anyways and this prevent the sliding issue when strapped over the hat. Also there are four adjustable straps, 2 upper and 2 lower that make the mask fit snugly and make it easy to stretch and remove. The face mask stays on perfectly while running and talking and I never felt the need to readjust while wearing. Things I would keep in mind though are the fit if your face is not a "standard" shape, you can't adjust the ear protection, nose bridge, or jawline. If you're a profuse sweater, this thing is gonna get damp and you're gonna wanna rinse and wash it. I highly recommend this mask especially over Paintball mask if you use optics since it allows for a comfortable cheek rest.

Haven't used in field but good build quality and fits nicely. After first use the foam on goggles fell off along top edge, first use was a lightly rainy day and humid fogged up badly added an anti fog coating to interior worked great, was a 65 degree day l, mesh face cover will loosen throughout play but saved my ear 3 times.

The mask’s unique structure gives unrivaled face protection. While the air mesh lining provides increased breathability without restricting airflow, it’s also durable enough to withstand multiple direct strikes. I find it rather appealing as I am not uncomfortable wearing it for long hours. However, this mesh has a tendency of shattering BBs into pieces, so it’s best to keep the mouth shut as a precaution during matches. The only issue is that there is a problem with the goggles as they don’t fit properly and I ended up buying a new one for matches.

Great purchase!!! (Since most people only rate when the product is bad or have some defects I’m gonna give my opinion on it) I bought these two with other two sets (same mask, different googles designs) 3 months after these are the only ones im using. The mask is amazingly comfortable and the googles fit perfect with the mask and a baseball hat, helmet or a simple beanie. The googles hold 400fps hits in close quarters. The only have fogged once and I was playing for hours in a forest (mind that I live in Miami) The goles on the sides have never been an issue, all the contrary, I don’t say is IMPOSSIBLE a bb can make through, but I play close quarters twice a week for months and so far so good. Mask is just great, all my friends switched to this mask and googles after a while, unless they had a better one (expensive one) already.

always test the gear yourself before going to the field!! LOWER MASK is comfortable, breathable and works as intended. EYE ROTECTION surprisingly held out to .25g bb at 400fps with my KWA LM4d. 5 shots and only mild cosmetic damage. - //warning// this is not full seal. there are holes on the side of the goggles that may exposes the eyes to a un/lucky shot. good for backyard shooting but DO NOT TAKE THIS TO THE FIELD.

I know what your thinking.. are these goggles unsafe?? Despite reading others comments, these goggles ARE SAFE! Yes it's true they allow a 6mm bb through a side hole (A 1 in a million shot) but if somehow magically that shot happened it wouldn't do any damage to your eyes. I'll breakdown this review in extreme detail so all your questions are answered! Question 1: Will the lense break if shot with a bb? Answer: No! Despite being only 1 layer and feeling a bit thin, as shown in my photo, I shot these glasses with 2.8 joules point blank and only a small dent was made. An average airsoft gun registers around 1 joule point blank. These goggles will save your eyes. Question 2. How sturdy are they? Answer: Not very! That center piece in the middle of the goggles is everything! Infact, the goggles are so dependent on that strip, that once it breaks, I would no longer deem these glasses safe, as the lenses are no longer "fully secure". These are throwaway goggles! Use until they start wearing down, and replace! These will not be a permanent pair of goggles for your airsoft career! Question 3: Do they fog? Answer: Of course they do! But it's highly dependent on the temperature. It's only 1 layer, so there's no seperational lenses to balance the temperature. Normally you can purchase a magnetic fog wiper to solve this issue, but since these goggles have a center strip, you'll need 2 thin wipers as opposed to 1 since you can't crossover. You can also buy some anti-fog spray and apply it before every game if need be. But I would recommend staying away from any single lense goggles during the cold season. Question 3. Will my glasses fit inside them? Answer: Most likely not. These are tight fit goggles and unless you wear prescription sports glasses like I do (or sunglasses), they won't fit inside these goggles. Question 4. Will they fit kids? Answer: Yes and No. If your child is a larger beefy 8-10 year old they will fit! However, the average 11-12 year old can wear these snug with the adjustable strap. Anyone under 11 is going to have a tough time wearing these. Question 5. Is the mask any good? Answer: Yes! The mask is standard mesh that you can find just about anywhere with cheap straps that will wear over time. Question 6. Will the mask protect my face and teeth? Answer: Yes, however, like all steel mesh masks, when hit, paint chips from the painted mesh will fly off the mask and hit your face a little. It's not really a big deal, but it does bother some people. It won't cause any damage to your face, just a little discomfort. Question 7. Will the mask fit kids? Answer: Not properly. The mask is set to adult size, if you want it to fit kids you need to modify it. By adjusting the straps you can get it to fit perhaps a 12 or 13 year old "Good enough to work". However the ear protection is aligned for adults. Best option for kids is to get a small balaclava and small mesh mask combo, or look into kids paintball masks. Valken has some decently affordable ones that work great. Question 8. Would you recommend this product? Answer. Yes to the mask, No to the goggles. Reason: Although it does the job, and it's affordable, I personally would rather invest in a long term pair of goggles with 2-3 layers for that nice anti-fog capability and comfort!
