Sooooooo so pretty, the Peony Cheeks color is a gorgeous bright cool toned pink that I think could look good on lots of people. It gives a really fresh and healthy look to your cheeks! The formula is so nice too, it’s a cream that blends out SO nicely, it almost like melts into your skin when you apply it. Works great with other blushes too and doesn’t disrupt your base makeup. I like to apply some powder blush (or just loose setting powder) overtop for longevity and it lasts all day, looking super bright and lovely and pigmented until I take it off. Everything I’ve ever gotten from AOU has been fantastic quality and absolutely beautiful and this is another win. Also, the packaging is very chic and high quality (and the compacts have mirrors, yay!) I have two of these blushes and they actually kind of “stack” on each other? I wish more makeup had features like that where things stack nicely and stay in place for those of us who always have WAY too much stuff on our vanities lol. I got this blush in 2 colors (Apricot Cheeks as well) and I’m SO impressed, I definitely plan to get more colors too!

AOU Soft Cream Blush 02 Peony Cheeks is a buildable blush that is adorably packaged. The blush is contained in a heart-shaped compact which has a mirror on the top half and the blush on the bottom half. The compact itself weighs 1.13 ounces, which is very travel-friendly. At first glance, this cream blush looks highly pigmented and the color is accurately depicted in the listing. However, once I applied the cream blush with my finger, the color easily blends into the skin and adds a faint pop of color. The result is very natural-looking. The color can be intensified by adding more cream blush.

This color is so, so pretty and such a flirty, feminine pink. I feel like a doll when I wear this, not just because of the color, but the packaging has that sort of Polly Pocket, doll makeup feel to it too. I have light-medium skin (buff beige, if you will) and this was a great color on me. It’s very pigmented with just a small amount, but if you have blush blindness you can layer it as much as you like. In my photos you can see it on the back of my hand slightly blended out. Cream makeup tends to transfer and fade a lot for me because I touch my face a lot throughout the day, but this doesn’t feel too dewy once applied and a little setting powder kept it in place. I’m a fan!

I can't get enough of blushes, and cream blush is one of my favorite types of blushes! This blush is creamy and glides on smoothly on your cheek, feeling very lightweight. The color, Peony Cheek, is a pretty pink color with a dash of rose/red and looks very natural. I first apply the product with my finger and then blend it out with a brush for a seamless flush look. It's not too pigmented, so you're able to control the intensity you prefer. It's not a glowy finish, so it'll be good for an everyday makeup look. I'm planning to add this to my daily makeup collection!

This cream blush is super pigmented, creamy, and easy to apply. It blends easily and lasts all day without fading. Just beware that it WILL stain brushes with light bristles and beauty sponges. Upon first application I was surprised by how pigmented it was and needed to blend it out with my white beauty sponge and even after several washes it is still stained bright pink. That being said, that staining power is likely why it lasts so well on the skin. The packaging is adorable, but the product is a little on the small side given the price. It’s not super expensive for a really nice cream blush, but it’s definitely a bit more expensive than similar products you could find at the drugstore. Then again, because of the pigmentation, a very little bit of this product goes a long way.

This blush comes in an adorable heart shaped case and the color is a cool bright pink. The consistency is like a gel cream, it’s easy to blend and feels very lightweight on the skin. You can apply this with your fingers or a brush. I like to use my fingers, dot a few areas and blend while tapping it in. The color is very wearable for every day, even though it looks quite bright in the case. It can also be used anywhere on the face for a nice pop of color. I like that it’s small and portable so it’s easy to carry with me and it doesn’t require any other tools since I apply it with my fingers.

I think I’m in the minority of those who don’t like this blush. It seems like a very saturated color of bright pink for little kids. Also for some reason the shade looks different in my photos but I’d say the 2nd photo is accurate. Meh just not for me or my skintone.

The compact was a little smaller than I expected but that's not terrible. It almost feels like play makeup. Since it's more of a cream than a powder, a little bit goes a long way. My daughter has very fair skin and my skin is slightly darker and we can both use this blush -- she uses much less and I have to use a little bit more for it to show up. But it looks very "natural" and not overdone if you get the balance right. The makeup does have a slight scent to it that takes some getting used to, but great for this pricepoint.
