I got this for my 5yo daughter, Its a little too hard for her to pedal right now so I'm a little disappointed. Hopefully as she gets bigger it should get easier for her.

The website shows that the age range is 3-8, but the manual upon arrival says 3-6. Which is way too small for my not yet 6 yr old. The small pieces like nuts, bolts, screws and washers all arrive in one small baggie, and must be seperated. This is a tedious job because a few of the items look exactly the same and are only a mm off. While not super clear, I could follow the picture instructions - but they could be made a bit easier to follow along to. Ive assembled plenty of things though, so Ive got some experience there. With less than 1 full hour of active use time, many of the nuts had come loose - just from the product being used! Thats definitely a safety issue. And within that same small amount of use, the rubber strips on the back tires stretched out so much that they wont stay on the tires any longer, they just fall right off during use. So there is no traction back there. I believe this is a design flaw, since the brake pushes up against that, the pressure of the brake actually stretches the rubber each time until it no longer fits. Due to these issues, we elected to return this item. Its too small, and the parts dont stay together.

This thing came in a huge box but it was still pretty light. The frame it's self is the heaviest as it is metal. The overall putting together sucked. The directions were not that clear and it was a guessing game as to what size screws go where. That was part was fine and wasn't what annoyed me, however putting the front plastic piece on was horrible. The screw holes did not line up and I ended up having to weave it through the frame and finally getting these two tiny screws in there just enough to hold it down in the very front. It's kid approved though so that's the biggest issue right?

The tread to the tires slips off, especially when it gets wet. We even tried gluing them on with liquid nails, but they still slipped off... The chain inside broke about a year in, which is in many reviews. Still easier to carry back home than power wheels though, and it goes a bit faster too. I still like that kids can pedal and get out energy instead of riding in an electric powered one, but my kiddo is pretty strong!
