  • Works Great - Dog Loves it!
Bought this for our small dog for long walks or bike rides... He's so small that he gets wore out trying to keep up with us. So on asphalt walks or other easy hikes, we take this along. It was was built but hard to put together. Instructions were a bit hard to follow and the parts are not precise fit. I had to trip off a bit metal off one of the bars. But it fit perfect after that. It rolls well behind my bike and connects easy. It's great as a stand alone stroller as well and rolls smooth. Our dog loves it and is really good inside. He has plenty of air movement. Our little guy love is behind the bike. I am sure that you can use it for so much more. Great purchase! ... show more

  • Perfect for my 17 year old!
My dog really thinks she is a princess now. Great for my older dog but large enough for 2 small dogs too

  • High quality, well made!
This has got to be the best dog trailer out there! Sturdy, well made, thick canvas fabric, solid metal frame. My border collie loves it, the mesh windows to get the breeze. I also use it to haul groceries. It has a lot of space. It IS heavy at 25 lbs. Plus 20 lbs of dog & I'm hauling 45 lbs. I have an E-bike. With a regular bike I'd only be able to haul it on flat, paved surfaces. The E-bike makes it a lot easier on slight grades. Originally I bought the medium sized one (red one), but it was too big for my border collie. I exchanged it for the small & it's perfect. You may want to size down. (The medium or large is maybe 30+ lbs.) One thing -- you will have to inflate the tires. And wouldn't be good for bumpy trails. The assembly instructions are hard to read. But, you'll figure it out. It is easy to switch it from a trailer to a stroller. Just change the arm & add the handle. I use it to stroll older or infirm dogs around the neighborhood. Great product! Great customer service. ... show more

  • One year update - the trailer hitch broke a weld on the end w/o safety tether
This is in-fact the most life altering purchase I've made all year! With the versatility to stroll on it's own, be towed by a bike, or used as a crate in the car, I've gained the freedom to take my pet where I want to go rather than be at the whim of her slipping out of collars and harness leads. Cons: the instruction sheet is difficult to "read", but thankfully the assembly is intuitive. My bike is being tuned up in the shop, so I have not tried the tow arm, but the front wheel is a bit wobbly. UPDATED CON -- the trailer hitch broke a weld on the end without safety tether! I've only had this item one year, and in-fact this is the first time I used it since last fall. Thankfully it waited to snap until I was pulling into the driveway, and did not send my dog careening off solo into traffic during our trek to the dog park which is a mile away across a major state highway. I will have to repair with JB weld and figure out a safety tether for the end of this tie bar that attaches to the trailer. Pros: lightweight, can use as crate, stroller, or trailer. • This stroller sucks!
This is awful to try to assemble. The crossbar that holds it open is a royal pain and took 3 people to finally get it placed. There is no padding for the dog to sit on. My dog got her whole head out of a gap in the back. There is no easy pack up and re assemble to transport the stroller to take it with you b/c of the above mentioned crossbar. It’s really just a piece of junk. I returned to the pet gear brand. At least I know from experience that is a good solid brand that does what it is claimed to do. Oh, and for this stroller, you need a hammer to get the front wheel in or the bike hitch. Good luck getting it out to change back and forth (wheel to hitch). Lastly, there is no brake to hold it still while the dog jumps in or out, so you need to hang on to it so the dog doesn't get hurt. ... show more

  • Perfect for smaller dogs
This was easy to put together and rides great. My aging Westie was unsure for her first ride, but was ready to get back in for the second time. It is a little more challenging to go up hills now, but other than that it’s super easy and smooth. I love the color and size.

  • Good for the money
It is a good product for the money. The bottom should be a little more sturdy. one of the bars that go across the top does not fit, but if you are going to travel with it in your vehicle, may just as well not use it anyway so it will be easy to break down to store it.

  • Not easily portable/foldeble.
I agree completely with all the other reviewers who complain with how difficult putting the cross bar inside to fit. ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE! It certainly is not a travel one that folds up or thetefore fits in the back of a car. On the other hand it is small and lightweight for pulling with a bike and also usuable ad a stroller which is why I'll keep it. It should cost less though! This is the second one I've had. First was a booyah that still works well after 8 years, I just wanted a lighter weight one and sadly what I didnt get was one I could fold up to travel with easily. I'm afraid to ever undo the cross bar as I may not get it in again on my own. ... show more
