Wish I had these years ago. I could have used these On-Stage to great effect. The freedom of movement is wonderful. They have a little less range than modern Bluetooth which is probably 35 feet line-of-sight on-stage. If you walk out into a crowd of a few hundred it will cut out. So don't believe the 130 feet of range. They function at a high frequency, 568Mhz, low interference, and they carry good range. 568Mhz is TV channel 30. Great batteries! Not AA powered as the ad says, but rechargeable. I opened it up and each one contains an 18650. Both the Mic's and Receiver recharge. Receiver is small so the battery can't be all that big. You may want to run a small power cable to it if you want to use it for more than 90 minutes. The Mic's are bigger, and while they'll fit in mic clips, they will Not fit in standard microphone C-clamps. It has two foam pop stoppers to dampen your plosives. Comes with two square gray rubber things that I don't know what they are but they slip up and on the microphone. Probably some sort of hanging sound dampener things. They have an adapter to change them over to 1/8" inch phono. You should not need that, these are not for recording. It's so simple; just plug the little 4 inch receiver into your PA input and hit on and your ready to go. They go on with a long click of the button. Both the Mic and the Receiver have a volume setting. The receiver goes up to 31, you should always leave that all the way up because you don't want to pump more power than volume into an input. Use the Mic, which goes from 0 to 9 to adjust your sound, and that should always be at 4+ for a similar reason, and so you have leeway to change it on the fly. I was pleased with the Mic's range on my sound test and it was amusing to do although I'm a bit out of practice. The Mic might have a bit more mid range. There is more warmth but that can always be EQ'd out. I got a little clipping the first time I tried the video below so I re-did it, but I'm pretty sure that was the phone getting blasted by the Amp. If there are any issues It picks up on plosives and pop sounds a little too well but that's manageable. Best off, you get two, so there's an extra one for your bass player. If your a live musician, go halves on it and it's well worth it and inexpensive. Just don't use them for recording, use wired only. If you work with other musicians, lock them up, they will walk off. Great for live bands and spoken word. Easy for fast setups.

I intend to add some additional information soon, as I don't have an event where I'll be able to put these through their paces for a few weeks, but I definitely want to lay out my initial thoughts before they fade. I did record an unboxing video that I intend to upload as well, but the internal mic on my camera had been disabled in favor of the line in, and I didn't catch it until afterwards, so I need to record a voiceover track before I can upload it. First Impressions/Unboxing --- Opening the package, I am very impressed with what I see. The cardboard box itself is well built and durable, and seems like it will last a long time as a storage option. Inside is a thick piece of custom-cut polyethylene foam that cradles everything inside nicely. Upon opening, everything is neatly packed, however the foam wind filters and anti-roll collars are all crammed in one compartment, leaving the foam filters visibly indented. I'm sure this will eventually fade, but they'll look weird at least at the beginning, so if you need perfect-looking mics for photos or whatnot, definitely give them some time out of the box to expand. The roll-rings are nice silicone rubber, though because they're bright blue, will definitely draw the eye. The mics themselves have a mostly metal case except for the very bottom (assuredly because metal would block the signal of the antenna inside that part of the case. In unscrews in several ways to access what I assume is the frequency button, install the roll-ring, and replace the rechargeable battery, which is a standard 18650 lithium cell. The mic turns on quickly and the power button doubles as a mute button with a short press. An LED near the head indicates on or mute in red/green. The metal mesh of the head is lined with foam, and the capsule itself has foam embedded in it as well, so plosives should be well handled with or without the additional wind filter. The receiver unit does not appear to have a user-replaceable battery at first glance, but since it would be at the board, it could assumedly be powered by USB in use were that to eventually wear out. I'll have to test to be sure, though. It boots up quickly as well, and shows the two frequencies of the mics it's picking up. The final accessories are the aforementioned wind filters, a double-ended USB charging cable (no block, but everyone has one lying around), and a basic 1/4" to 1/8" adapter. All told, this looks like a pretty good deal for the price, but I'll make a final call on it once I get some sound testing done, and again after live use. I doubt it will hold up under regular use by a venue or professional stage outfitter (an SM-58 with wireless XLR would probably be advisable under those circumstances), but for the occasional speech, lecture, Q/A session, awards ceremony, or karaoke night, they'll look good and do the job.

Let me start by saying I have a pair of really high-end Panasonic wireless microphones for when I DJ and they sound great. They take double a batteries which is a bummer because you're constantly having to worry about running out of batteries, but more importantly is I need an entire separate sending unit that I have to use one of the spaces in my surge protector which when you're a mobile DJ is a commodity. Then I have to use two microphone cables to go from that to my DJ setup again commodity on cables. This however is a wireless setup that only requires one receiver no additional power setup and usb-c rechargeable for all three pieces both microphones and receiver. The LED readout is easily identifiable you can adjust your microphone up to +9db and down to zero. Additionally it has a indicator LED ring around the outside that shows you when you are live or you can press the power button to mute as well. Absolutely zero interference between both mics after extensive testing one does not bleed through the other no cross interference nothing like that. It comes with a non-slip ring which I don't ever see using but more importantly it also comes with an adapter so you can plug this into anything that has an input including your computer if you so wanted it also nicely comes with a double-ended USB c charging cable so you can plug into both microphones and charge them up at the same time which is fantastic. This is a lot of fun not just for DJ setups but also for at-home karaoke. Super easy to use and honestly I cannot have anything bad to say about these after extensively testing and for the price just what a great value.

This highly-affordable wireless microphone kit is a solid choice for casual social events! The microphones are very modern-looking with angled metal grilles and black anodized metal alloy housings! An LED ring below the capsule provides both flair and functionality by glowing green when the microphone is live or red when it is muted! A high-contrast, color TFT display provides very useful operational information for each microphone and for the receiver including: signal strength; battery charge; input gain for the microphones (output gain for the receiver); and frequency and channel assignments for each microphone. The dual channel receiver and independent volume controls on each microphone make it possible for loud and quiet singers to blend their voices together when singing on karaoke machines that have only one microphone input! The easy-access microphone controls could be a pro or a con as they provide quick access to gain (via individual +/- buttons) or muting when hitting the "Power Button", which also shuts down the microphone when held for at least 3 seconds. I don't believe there is a function to lock these buttons, so accidental presses could happen depending upon how the user is holding the microphone. Fortunately, the kit also includes anti-slip rings, which rests on the hand and prevents the microphone from falling victim to an accidental "mic drop"! Where the microphones begin to hit some headwinds concerns their usage for mission-critical events such as corporate meetings, weddings, or live event recordings. This system employs an analog UHF signal, which can produce a very low, nearly-inaudible amount of noise from signal interference. There is also a perceptible amount of self-operating noise that is greater than that of a wired dynamic microphone at the same input level. This issue can typically be managed through proper gain staging using the microphones' and receiver's gain controls. However, an issue that might dissuade you from using this microphone for an important event (e.g. a corporate presentation) is that it does not provide signal encryption like a high-end digital system. So signal "hijacking" or "crashing" is a possibility that increases as you enter more populated areas. If your intent is to record live performances, then the sound captured by these microphones may or may not suit your taste. I would describe the audio to be sitting more toward the dynamically compressed-side of the spectrum than the more "open" and "crisp" side, with a lot of dynamic range. I wouldn't necessarily suggest that this is automatically a bad thing either because these microphones do have a naturally "warm" and slightly "saturated" characteristic to them, and that just might be exactly what you're looking for! Additionally, there is a pleasant "proximity effect" as you increase the microphone's input gain toward its maximum setting that produces a stylistic "radio voice" that is quite smooth, despite being a little "boxy". In fact, this could work quite well for a podcast or a live interview when your go-to microphone normally sounds a bit bland and/or requires a lot of post-processing to sound "good". Recording is an art so there's no right or wrong when you make a decision that fits your intent! One particular aspect that I like about these handhelds is that they are equipped with a removeable type 18650 rechargeable battery as opposed to having a permanent, integrated battery! Each microphone gets its outstanding run time from a high-capacity rechargeable that's larger in size and higher in voltage than your standard 'AA'-size battery! The microphones can be charged from the USB-C port at the bottom end using the provided USB-C cable while the receiver can be charged from the USB-C port on its back. My overall rating for this microphone package is very much dependent upon the end user. While there are a lot of "Quality of Life" features that are typically only found in more expensive systems, I would personally look at this package solely from the quality of audio produced by the microphones. For my particular use case, the rating for this package would end up falling into the 2 out of 5 range. However, when viewing this package from the perspective of a karaoke bar or of a family looking to have a very affordable, quality wireless kit for Friday karaoke night, then this is a perfect 5 out of 5-star system! I think that the vast majority of people interested in this product would probably be in the latter camp, and I cannot think of a better alternative that beats the quality and features of this product at this particular price point! (When I think about a karaoke bar and all the tipsy patrons that could potentially "mic drop" a $400 wireless handheld, I'd gladly purchase this product ten times over as cheap insurance!) For the masses, I rate this product 5-stars!

Use Case: We got these for our daughter. She loves to sing, and we wanted something that would do a decent job capturing her voice for recordings without having to become sound engineers. Description to Contents: We received the microphone set with the microphones, receiver, and carrying case as described. Setup was straightforward. We plugged the included 6.5mm connector into a 3.5mm adapter and connected it to the microphone port on our computer for recording. Material and Quality: The microphones have a solid feel in the hand. The buttons and controls are easy to access, and the display is easy to read. Usability and Fit: These are very simple to use. The microphones synchronized with the receiver without any special setup or troubleshooting. The controls on the microphones are easy to understand, making them accessible even for younger users. We have only tested them to about 12 feet from the receiver, but within that range they worked without any connection issues. Performance: The recording quality is surprisingly good for the price range. Vocals come through clearly, and the microphones have worked well for singing. We did notice that when the microphone is held too close to the mouth, it can pick up a humming or vibrating sound that affects the recording quality. More recently, we have also used them to record our daughter playing her viola. That has been somewhat more challenging, as the changing pitches occasionally make it difficult to get consistently clean recordings, but that is something we can likely work through. Bottom line: This is a solid wireless microphone set that is easy to set up and use. The recording quality is better than expected, the microphones feel durable, and synchronization was effortless. They work particularly well for singing and general voice recording. For our daughter, they have been a great introduction to recording and performance equipment.

I have used a lot of wireless microphones over the years, and these are honestly the best microphones I’ve personally used from Aokeo. The overall build quality on this AK-22P set is absolutely immaculate. Right out of the case, these microphones feel premium. They have real weight to them and don’t feel cheap, hollow, or plasticky at all. The metal construction gives them that luxury professional microphone feel you’d expect from much more expensive equipment. Setup was incredibly easy. They connected almost instantly with zero connectivity issues, and the wireless range has been excellent. I’ve walked all over the room while testing them and never experienced signal drops or interference. The 130ft range is definitely useful for karaoke nights, speaking events, church use, DJ setups, or even content creation. The sound quality also impressed me. Clear vocals, strong output, and very reliable performance overall. I also really liked that the microphones have onboard volume control and the one-touch mute feature. That’s something I didn’t realize I’d appreciate so much until I started using it regularly. The smart display showing battery level, signal strength, and volume is another nice touch that makes these feel far more high-end than expected. One thing I genuinely did not expect was the RGB lighting. I thought it was going to be gimmicky, but honestly it adds a really cool flair without looking overdone. It actually makes karaoke sessions and parties more fun. Another huge plus is that this set comes with basically everything you need right out of the box, including a carrying case. The entire package feels complete and well thought out. I’ll be honest, I have had one disappointing experience with an Aokeo boom arm in the past, but that has genuinely been my only bad experience with the brand. Their microphones and audio gear have usually been fantastic for me, and this set completely reminded me why I keep coming back to them. These are easily my favorite microphones I’ve owned from Aokeo so far. For the price, the value here is incredible. You’re getting durable metal microphones, strong wireless performance, useful features, premium feel, and excellent sound quality all in one package. I’m honestly extremely impressed with this set and absolutely love using them.

I used these Aokeo wireless mics for a karaoke night at home and honestly they made everything so easy. I’m not a tech person, so I really liked that I just plugged in the receiver and the mics connected on their own. No settings, no buttons to figure out, nothing. They just paired and we started singing. The mics are super lightweight, like surprisingly light, but still feel strong and well‑made. The finishing looks clean and not cheap at all. And the best part for me — they’re rechargeable. No more running around looking for batteries. They use USB‑C so I literally charged them with my phone charger. They also come with everything you need in the box… the cable, the 3.5mm jack, the 6.35mm jack, so you don’t have to buy anything extra. The receiver also finds the best frequency by itself so there’s no interference or weird noises. One thing I really liked is the little dB control switch on each mic. You can lower or raise your voice so you don’t scream into it and distort the sound. The receiver also has its own control, so you don’t need any apps or computer stuff to adjust anything. Overall, these mics made our karaoke night super fun and stress‑free. Lightweight, rechargeable, easy to use, and just good quality. Aokeo is definitely making solid products. Loved it.
