  • Sturdy, quality construction, safe
Color: Shiny Black Size: 300 Pound
This kneeler has changed my foot surgery recovery completely. It's so easy to use. It's light and substantial, at the same time. I can avoid doing complex turnaround maneuvers by simply lifting up on the front handles and moving the front of the kneeler in the direction I want, because of the great shock absorber. It doesn't roll when I first place my knee on it. Couldn't be happier. ... show more

  • Great value would buy again
When looking at reviews it’s easy to get hung up on the poor reviews - many of which are simply noise that can lead to confusion on whether a product is a good purchase. For example, complaints on turning radius being large. This is not an auto, and hopefully not long term for someone. It beats the heck out of crutches. I’m 6’2” tall and this adjusts well for me. It’s easy to maneuver. Yes, it may have a challenge over bumps but you quickly learn how to maneuver over those. If you have A LOT of uneven surfaces then maybe look at a more expensive all terrain scooter with inflated front tires. However for most people, this should work great. Well built, no concerns with comfort, assembly was straightforward, I am using it inside my house, around my house, the office, errands etc., while dealing with a foot fracture. It definitely helps me keep the load off my foot. My doctor said if I don’t, she would put me in a cast vs a boot so that I’m forced to keep the load off. This helps so much more than crutches. The bag is a nice addition. Update: I have a knee-height leg boot and most scooter reviews have complaints of comfort. I realize it’s a lot of pressure on my knee and shin area across the brace. Highly recommend buying a knee scooter cushion. After a long day on my scooter (still 5 stars), I had to order a cushion. ... show more

  • Very good product for the price
I'm an able-bodied person using knee scooters post foot surgery. Yes I said Scooter(s)! I have two now which seems ridiculous but if you have a two-story house like I do it's the BEST! An upstairs scooter and a downstairs one is totally the way to go. It also gives me the ability to review this product compared to the one I got from the DME vendor associated with the surgery center. So, this product is nicer and built more solidly than the one they gave me. Probably a much better product for the price. It came well packed and easy to assemble if you're even slightly mechanically minded. (more on this later) Comparing the two scooters I find some subtle things worth noting here... mainly giving the manufacturer feedback. FIRST a comment: make sure you get a scooter with good and easy to use parking breaks! (There's one model out there on Amazon that has none!!) The breaks are critical for safety and you'll want to use them very frequently.... and both my scooters have good breaks. Here's the room for improvement with this scooter. I it makes a surprising ergonomic improvement in operation if the handle position is just a bit behind the front axile. This product has an absolutely straight vertical steering column and handle-bar. My other scooter's vertical bar is canted back just a couple of degrees and the steering bar is slightly bent toward the user. Together these two things put your hands an inch or so the front axile. You'd be surprised how much this changes the feeling of maneuverability and safety. The other observation about this unit is that the wheels don't roll as freely as the other one's. The wheel assemblies came pre-assembled so this is not user error, but they are just not as free rolling. Really not a bit deal, but I sort of like the better push and glide of the freer rolling unit. Personal preference though. YOU may want one with a little more built in breaking. Overall, very good product for the price and MORE than adequate for the 3 or so weeks I'll need it. ... show more

  • Great alternative to crutches
Color: Shiny Black Size: 300 Pound
Departed the surgery center using crutches and began using the scooter at home the same day. It is much easier to use, in my opinion, around the house. It’s easily foldable so it will travel well too. It was very easy to assemble, no tools required, sturdy, light enough to reposition , locking brakes help so it doesn’t “ scoot” while doing something with both hands. It’s not the luxury model but I would highly recommend it as an alternative to crutches for the short time I hope it will be needed. ... show more

  • Not all terrain and brakes fail and can’t be fixed after few weeks!
Color: Shiny Black Size: 300 Pound
Sturdy look and the low price made me buy it, for non-weight bearing foot, after surgery of total ruptured Achilles tendon. The frame is sturdy, knee pad is comfortable. However all terrain use is not true, I tried all sorts of terrains, ended up lifting it over many areas. Only works on flat cement, wooden floor and compact carpet. Even going over a relatively small rock got it off balance. Even bigger problem, brakes started to have issues after the second week, my husband adjusted it several times and it worked only for a few days to a few hours later on. Issues like brake pad not reaching wheel to stop it, and pins snapping open on top, which then no longer engaged brakes. We eventually took it to a bike shop, where we were told bad construction, one wire meant to do three functions which makes it not work well. He was only able to have one brake working, which basically slows down roll, but not stop scooter. After 6 weeks of use, now I’m stuck with it for 4 more weeks of a partial weight bearing foot and hope for the best! I would not recommend this scooter, while it rolls, it’s not safe! ... show more

  • Good for indoors, terrible outdoors
Color: Shiny Black Size: 300 Pound
I purchased this after tearing my Achilles playing sports. Excellent and reasonably stable around the house. However, the “all-terrain” wheels are distant from that. I have been unable to navigate my city sidewalks as the wheels frequently catch on the seams in the sidewalks, and on several occasions I have been fully pitched to the ground resulting in further injuries. I am not an “unbalanced person”, and if I am unable to navigate flat sidewalks because the tires are hard plastic, I can’t imagine this would be great for people with more compromised balance. But again, for room to room navigation on hardwood, it does well. Knee pad is quite comfortable, adjustability is solid, and the frame is well built. ... show more

  • Most amazing purchase for the money and need i ever bought
Color: Shiny Blue Size: 300 Pound
I don't always go out of my way to review a product i purchased unless its a great product. Well this is one of those situations where i literally signed in just to review this product. On a scale of 1 to 10 this is a 20. Here is why. I broke my ankle and for 2 weeks i was using crutches around my house. It was very uncomfortable and i had to rely on family to bring cook food for me. Also it was painful on my hands and arms to keep my weight up. Then i saw this product and figured i would try it. Let me tell you how happy i was and how this product changed everything. After it arrived i put it together very easy took about 10 minutes. The first ride around the house was a little off. I realized i had the seat wrong and once i fixed that it started to get better. After a few times i am flying around the house. The breaks they don't need to even waist their money on them you will never use them. The price is HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? HOW DO YOU MAKE SUCH AN AMAZING PRODUCT FOR this price??? I feel like i got a deal of a life time. It's wonderful to know that good deals still exist. When you factor this product comes from China to America and is professionally boxed and packaged how the heck is it 99 dollars??? Trust me people this is an amazing product for the price and it will make your life easier when you are injured. It turns great and the only thing is your knee will begin to hurt if your on it to long. It's not designed to just knee around all day. It's for you to be able to bring it close to your bed or couch put turn the bike because it's easy to turn around put your knee up on it and go to the kitchen get your food, put up a dish, get some ice and go back to your room and ice that foot and eat in your room or living room. I love it amazing product best product i ever bought in my life for the price and what it has done for me. ... show more
