EDITED ******************* Upgrading from 3* to 4*. I subsequently learned that magnetic charging is inefficient and loses significant power to heat. I've now used this power bank for travel and home charging on a daily basis for a few months and rely on it almost exclusively to charge my iPhone 16. It has worked consistently, and at this point my only remaining complaint is that the LED is very bright. It's distracting if next to me while watching TV and it's disturbing at night. I wish the LED could be dimmed. ******************* Other than capacity, the battery charger works as advertised. I've had wired 10000 mAh external batteries that charge my iPhone 12 about 2.5 times before needing to be replenished. This external battery does a little over one charge before it's depleted. Also, a few times I found the charger off--not charging--while connected to the iPhone. I had to wake the charger to get it to resume charging. The magnet and kickstand work well. Charges phone moderately quickly; recharges itself over USB-C pretty slowly. As others have said, phone and charger get pretty warm.

I bought this portable charger last February and it stopped recharging in July. I loved the device and didn't want a different one. I needed a replacement and decided to buy the same battery again while I waited to see if the manufacturer would step up and replace the defective unit. I messaged them and they were very responsive and apologetic. They did send a replacement (a little delayed since they lost the text string), and I am very happy with the company and product. The replacement battery has not failed and is going strong.

This battery is convenient and works well so far for my needs. I have an iPhone and can conveniently charge my iPhone without needing to carry a charger. It’s also a conveniently small size and doesn’t take much space, if any, in my baby’s diaper bag. I use it to charge my baby’s cordless portable milk warmer. It can also be used to stand the phone while it’s charging. I don’t watch many videos on my phone, specially not when I’m out and about, so I haven’t really used that feature but I did test it and the stand works well.

I'm generally pleased with the AOGUERBE Magnetic Power Bank, but there's one design flaw that prevents me from giving it a full 5 stars. Let's start with the positives: this power bank has excellent Magsafe capabilities, making it a great companion for my iPhone. It provides plenty of juice on the go, and the fast charging is nice! However, my main gripe is that you need to unplug the power bank from its USB charger in order to charge your phone. This seems like a fundamental design oversight, as it would be much more convenient to be able to charge both the power bank and your phone simultaneously. Despite this flaw, I still think the AOGUERBE Magnetic Power Bank is a good overall product. The foldable design is compact and convenient, and the LED display is nice. If the manufacturer could address the charging issue, I'd be happy to bump up my rating to 5 stars. For now, it's a solid 4 stars.
