  • A great 88-key weighted digital Piano for beginners with great build quality!
Size: S-200 Digital Piano
The media could not be loaded. This Piano will surprise you with its build quality. For the price, it is definitely a great deal when it comes with all you would need to start your classes. My wife got crazy to learn Piano suddenly and so after searching for all the economical weighted key options, I ended with this. I didn't want to spend on expensive pianos as I am sure this craze of her will end soon. This is a budget combo and not fair to compare this with a costly Piano which cost 5-10 times more than this. Keeping that in mind, my 2 cents below: Pros: - Weighted key has its advantages and it is easy to play - It has 31 demo songs, 8 crafted voices, 128 preset tempos, 256 preset timbres & other features making it easier to self-guide - Excellent build quality - Sound is loud enough compared to the online teaching videos where tutor plays expensive ones. I have zero knowledge about pianos and just my thoughts based on what I could get while seeing my wife learning - It supports dual keyboard to play in pairs - Headphone jack is a nice feature to play in silent without disturbing others in the home - Loved the finish - It comes with sustain pedal to start Piano training - It even comes with detailed manual on how to operate this piano - Super reasonable price Cons: - You don't get additional color options with this model. Some folks might prefer a white/brown color or funkier colors - I wish they included some kind of stand for the piano even at this price point Overall, it is a great product considering the price. Recommended. Worth trying for beginners and later upgrade to costly ones when you are well proficient in playing it. ... show more

  • Great Sound Quality for the money. Excellent for beginners!
Size: S-200 Digital Piano
I bought another brand prior to this one, sound and quality was very bad. It was more expensive too. Then I ordered this one and we love it. I purchased the stand seperately, but it is full size, weighted keys, damper pedal and easy to use sound variations. He added the stickers for easy learning. Headphones can be plugged in also. Great value! ... show more

  • Great for beginners/intermediate beginners.
Size: S-200 Digital Piano with Stand
I've been taking piano classes at my local community college for the past year, equivalent to a level 1 and 2 class. At home, I would practice with this keyboard I had for around 5 years that had great sound, a handful of interesting midi sounds, but abysmal keys with no resistance. It isn't something you would notice or care about just starting with piano, but after 6 months I noticed just how much more comfortable and better playing on the more expensive keyboards and actual pianos at my school felt—I also DESPERATELY needed a pedal. So I set out to find a keyboard that would suit my wants and needs: something that just had fully weighted keys, had good sound quality, and had a good looking stand—I didn't want an X-style stand like I had before. The keys: The keys are great. They feel pretty much as weighted as the Yamaha keyboards we use in my class. They still feel different from acoustic/grand pianos, but pretty good. The sound: To be honest...I really wasn't expecting the sound to be kind of mediocre. My previous keyboard, The One Light light-weighted keyboard, has a pretty decent sound quality. I'm not too experience with pianos, but I wouldn't say it was any worse than the Yamaha I use in class. This one...it's not too bad, but it has a very definite digital-sounding feel to it. I noticed it immediately when I used it and immediately assumed it was because of some button that was accidentally turned on. Nope. That's the default state. I got used to it after using it for a bit, but I wouldn't put the sound high on the list. It makes me wonder what the other reviewers were hearing, since part of the reason why I got this is because the reviews said it had good sound quality. The build: the keys don't feel cheap, though whether they are or not isn't really an indicator of that. The body of the keyboard mixes between thin and hardened plastic—the thin plastic parts don't feel cheap but they don't feel not cheap, you know? The stand itself is made of wood and is fairly easy to put together and should be pain free for those unexperienced with building things like this. Overall, if you really want something with fully weighted keys, 88 keys, a slightly fancier stand, that comes with the three pedal attachments, then this is a pretty good option. I ultimately chose this one because I was eyeing the Yamaha keyboards when they were out of my price range. This one felt like a good compromise between price and quality, and I wouldn't say that the quality is bad at all. Some of these problems just feel like ones that will be fixed as soon as you get a more expensive keyboard. ... show more

  • Surpassed expectation, great quality
Size: S-200 Digital Piano
I am very pleased with my purchase. At first, I was unsure if the product would meet my expectations. Surprisingly, it did! I had played a Yamaha and a Steinway pianos. When I ordered this product, I didn't expect that it would meet the quality of Yamaha but it was close. Even though this product doesn't come from big-name brands such as Yamaha or Roland, it has great quality of sound. I already have a classical piano at home but I need a second piano keyboard, which allows me to control sound volume to practice at night. I also liked the weighted feel of the keyboard as well. It is very close to the real piano keyboard. Besides the practical aspect of this product, I also liked the aesthetic aspect of it. It has a simplistic look. I like the shape and finished look of the pedal. Control buttons are easy to maneuver and very self-explanatory. I play piano at church during service and I play piano as a hobby, too. I am not a professional pianist, but I do play piano all the time. I highly recommend this product to beginner-level, intermediate-level, and advanced-level students or players, because it has great quality yet is not as overpriced as other big-name brand name products. Since I gained confidence in the product quality of this brand, I ordered another instrument a drum set-- too from this company. ... show more

  • Great beginners keyboard
Size: S-200 Digital Piano
Both kids have done well learning to play the piano with this keyboard. It’s good experience for beginners to get the full feel of weighted keys and should last a long time. The sound quality is very good, the weighted keys feel good. So far worth the investment.
