Nicer quality than I expected! The pads are durable, the base also very nice. Everything tightens with ease using the included key, which is critical for loosening and tightening the pieces. Assembly took about 20 minutes. Included headphones seem cheap, but they, like the stool i see as a freebie. The sound and response here are really good too. The only catch is the foot pedals are super sensitive. The kick will often trigger twice, but still this is excellent for a small child or early teen.... My 5 year old has been taking lessons and has struggled to do simple patterns like hi-hat, hi-hat-snare, hi-hat, hi-hat snare repeatedly using just a starter pad.... Having a simple electronic kit with all the kit pieces placed correctly is HUGELY important to someone this age and after hooking it all up he immediately started executing the patterns he is being taught on a acoustic hit at lessons... Seeing that I knew this was a great purchase

The whole family loves it. This is great for families and kids. The fact that you can play silently is a game changer!! However if you wants to play out loud for everyone to hear the sound quality would depend on your speaker. We connected ours to a speaker and it sounds amazing. Parents and kids would love this. I think it’s a great value for your buck and makes an amazing gift for a child!

The media could not be loaded. My daughter is 10 and a novice drummer! This is the perfect practice set. It was not the easiest to put together but overall very durable and has amazing sound quality. For me the best part of this set is it is functional with or without headphones. This is perfect as we live in a condo, she can rock out and not disturb the neighbors with noise. Overall a great cost effective practice drum set!

I bought this for my son for his birthday and he’s so sad he can’t use it. I have this set up and connected, but for the life of me cannot get any sound out through the factory headphones, or beats. There are no instructions on how to make sound. I’ve adjusted the a/b button on the back for the kick pedal and I’m still getting no sound. Help!! Is there any advice how to get this kit to make noise?
