I have problems working with my hands and I frequently find myself dropping anything that's in my hands. Well, this tape was a perfect upgrade to my knife collection. The grip is the best of any tapes or griptapes. It is not aggressively abrasive. It is very soft and comfortable, and yet, it has amazing grippiness, if that a word, lol. Anyway, yeah, this product is pricey, and you do not get a gigantic roll of it, but, it is the best of its kind. Just try it. You will know what I'm talking about, once you stick the tape on, in 24 hours, the adhesive really locks on to whatever you want to use this product on. Within. Less than 24 hours it's sticks to the product, well, but after 24 hours, it really sticks. Within 24 hours or after 24 hours, it is not difficult to remove, if you really want to take it off. Would and will, buy again.

I have a seated calf raise at home that is fine for home use but it's not built great and when it was built they used some kind of thin foam as a way for shoes to get traction on the foot stands. Of course foam being smashed under a moving foot which may be under the load of hundreds of pounds, the foam ripped almost immediately.. Without the foam it was even worse though since it was sneakers on bare slick metal. This grip tape is what the calf raise should have came with from the start. Took 1 mijnute to apply to 2 sides and I knew I wasn't planning to use it for the next 2 days so the tape would have plenty of time to form a bond. Now it's working better than it was when I got it. However, I also tried a little bit on a pull up bar that has a weird knurling that is to flat. On the pull up bar I didn't like it at all. I can't say for sure what it was, but it just wasn't for me.

I ordered this tape to repair the handle of my broom - its protective sheath on the handle had split, making it uncomfortable to use. This tape sounded like the perfect solution. A few initial thoughts upon opening the package... It is a fairly thin tape and doesn’t provide much cushioning, so if you are looking for cushioning this one is probably not going to be right for you. It does provide enhanced grip, but is still somewhat smooth - not quite a grippy as a tennis handle for example. While it is flexible, it is best used on flat surfaces with no bumps or curves to cover because it doesn't stretch. So, here is my experience - while it is fairly easy to use, I found it a little tricky to figure out the best way to apply it. Looking at the photo examples on the webpage, I'm not sure how they got such clean results on the wheelchair grip and the grab bar. I chose to make two long strips and overlap them, thinking that it would be more comfortable. (SEE PHOTOS) The problem is that the tape stuck well to the handle, but where it overlapped back onto itself it’s not sticking well at all. (It actually sticks at first, but then later when I come back, it has peeled up.) On the package, one of the tips it provides is during colder weather, to heat the tape up in order to create better adhesion. I have not done that yet because it's summer and I didn't think I'd need to do that. Perhaps I should have done small strips to cover the circumference (each abutting one another) without allowing for any overlap of the tape. I also considered a diagonal wrap, but that seemed like it could be uncomfortable. I may remove what I already did and try another method. Depending on your usage, this may work, but for me it's honestly not been a very good solution.

I put this tape on my metal stapler so that it wouldnt slide off roofs anymore and it works great. It works better on some surfaces than others as other reviews have mentioned. Generally it adheres well as long as you give it time to properly attach and is comfortable to grip. Overall this is a decent product for the money.

Use: I have a dumbell to barbell converter that was manufactured with a smooth bar and I needed to add grip to the bar for safety and to make lifting easier/less slippy. Even with workout gloves, the bar did not feel quite right. This grip tape was an easy solution. Likes * good light to medium traction for this purpose * has a peel away backing so you can cut the length you need first, test where you will apply, and then you can reveal the adhesive to apply * capable of wrapping around an item or applying to a floor if needed. Considerations * when using as a wrap for an item, will use more material than you think to get good coverage and overlapping placement to keep adhered to the surface and to not get ripped away during use. For this purpose, will still have some rigids because of tape overlap. Verdict: would buy for light to medium intensity needs
