This is a great beginner pickle ball set. Comes with everything you need to start playing right away. We never played before but are picking up the game quick. The paddles are really light making them easy to use and my wife and I both really appreciated the simple design choice. The white grips on 2 of the paddles are showing some dirt but should clean up easily. The balls it comes with aren’t showing any signs of wear after a few games played. The duffel bag it comes with is big it has plenty of room to hold the paddles and balls and more room for waters. It has a zipper pocket on the outside too you can put your phone and keys in. Overall we are happy with this set and have enough paddles we can invite friend to play with us.

For someone looking to test the waters of the pickleball wave, it's tough to beat this set. Admittedly, I'm relatively new to the sport but play regularly in a variety of settings (i.e. league competition, local open play, recreationally with friends/family, etc...). As such, I needed a set of paddles that I could feel good about handing to friends who have either never played or play more casually, and I didn't feel great about buying cheaper wooden paddles with no pop and no forgiveness. Fun is the name of the game, and the paddle shouldn't get in the way of that. So, when I saw that these were actually constructed of polymer honeycomb with a graphite face (what many/most entry level to intermediate brand name paddles are made of), I jumped on it. Well, after using this set several times and receiving feedback from players of various levels, I would propose that there may not be a better set for beginners with this price point on the market. I didn't expect them to play like my paddle that is nearly 10x the cost, but these are definitely more than suitable for beginners. The sweet spot isn't huge, but I found it to be responsive. Likewise, there are a few dead spots around the edges, but even far more expensive paddles have this issue. Everyone who used the paddles thought that the grips were very comfortable in hand, but they're likely too short for those who consistently use a two-handed backhand. One last con would be the lack of grit (that aids greater spin) on the paddle face, but, again, the cost needs to be taken into consideration. Also, my paddles were not all the exact color schemes shown in the picture, but they do have a clean and vibrant look to them. All in all, the fact that it includes four polymer honeycomb core paddles, six balls, and a bag makes this set a no-brainer for anyone who wants a beginner level set on a budget.

I gave these to my son for his birthday and I purposely bought the set because it had bag included etc. He opened it up and was overwhelmed by the smell - I put outside to air out but still overwhelming chemical smell that gives you an instant headache so haven't been able to even test it yet.

I received these paddles and they looked pretty good. My wife and I used the black ones for about 3 weeks and noticed one had a bit of a dead spot in the top of the paddle. Then, 3 days ago I switched to the white paddle and found out the frame was breaking off the paddle itself before I even got to use it. Don’t recommend this set, but this is just my personal experience. Hoping sellers can reach out and resolve the issues

This is a nice set for beginners. Our family is huge, and we have a wide range of pickleball players based on time invested and skill. I’ve used my brother’s really nice, $200 dollar paddle, a decent $100 paddle, and these paddles. Im not skilled enough to notice a difference in my gameplay. The more seasoned players, however, can totally tell the difference. What I can notice… these have a slightly smaller grip that is smoother than the really nice paddles. I do like that my hand doesn’t get super sweaty when using these, but it isn’t as comfortable a grip as the more expensive paddles. That’s a pretty inexpensive fix though. The weight varies amongst all of the paddles with these seemingly weighted slightly toward power rather than speed. They may not be ideal for young players. My nephew says he can get much better top spin with the more expensive paddles. There seems to be no difference in the balls, so that’s sort of a non-point. The colors on these are fun, but the paddles do have a cheaper look than the more expensive paddles. At the time of this review there’s a 50% off coupon for this set making it an excellent deal at about $8/paddle. Even at full price this is a pretty good deal. I would recommend this for beginners or for more seasoned players that may wish to introduce the game to others. I think if you start to get really into the game, you’ll likely want to upgrade your paddle pretty quickly. However, there is no reason you can’t thoroughly enjoy the game with this set alone.

This set has given our family several hours of enjoyment already. The paddles are reasonably lightweight and my 4 year old seems able to handle them without much effort. The handle grips feel very soft and comfortable, i have some minor concerns about the durablity of the grip tape, but so far it has held up fine, that is a common wear and tear item anyway. If you have a court nearby, this is certainly a good starter set for the money.

I am new to pickle ball - haven't actually played on a real pickleball court - since we don't have one in the small town I live in. I have been playing with this on the pavement - and the paddles are comfortable to hold and the ball seems to jump off the paddle very nicely. I will update my review once I have had a chance to try these in a more competitive environment.
