Very nice! Only one minor downfall, not sure if it is actual wood like it claims to be on listing, very thin. Hopefully holds up of not can probably go to local wood cutter place and have new real wood cut outs made. I needed a plant/ vase stand and this fit the bill, the piping suited since my pub table nearby is real pine wood which does not match this but the piping matches. Overall satisfied and would recommend. I knocked one star down, most likely will have to replace the cheap wood as shelves. Please notes make sure you tighten piping as you build do not wait until all shelves are on or you will wind up undoing it all and retight the entire thing. ... show more

Our adult son set up our shelves & we love them. We are in the process of ‘decluttering’ & our new shelves allowed us to get rid of 6 old bookcases as well as put all of our books together. It’s still a work in process, but we do see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I brought 6 tier 24 inch wide and 4 tier 36 inch wide shelving units to fit between my husband's desk and the wall so he could maximize the space in his office and have somewhere to put his books. I couldn't find a tall unit narrower than 24 inches, so the open design of these shelves only minimally intrude into the window space, which was expected. The pipe design complements his existing decor and, overall, the shelves look good. Setup: Setup was straightforward, but when we put them together the way they were intended, the lowest shelf on each unit partially obstructed wall outlets. Based on measurements, I had expected the network plate to be partially obstructed, but thought there would be just enough clearance to keep the power outlet clear. After discussing different options, we decided to swap the top short pipes with the bottom long pipes. This lowered both sets of shelves so that the bottom shelves just barely cleared the baseboards and neither outlet was obstructed anymore (see second photo on far right and far left). This resolved, very easily, the unexpected difficulties. Cons: My husband wishes that the height of each shelf could be adjusted, but that was the only con, in my opinion. I would totally be interested in the option to buy extra pipes of different lengths and extra boards so that we could customize them more. Quality: One of the shelves seemed a little warped and the wood finish is rough, but I expect the books will cover most flaws. The color is not quite what I expected. Otherwise, they seem sturdy and securing them to the wall will prevent their tipping over. Conclusion: Overall, I like the way they look, they fit the space almost perfectly, they seem solidly built, and will last for a long time. ... show more

I have one the worlds dumbest apartment closet shelving for my linens. I needed extra shelving for my bath sheet size towels I recently bought. What I used was a tower method. It was to tall to be functional and I didn’t trust that it wouldn’t some day fall over on my house guests. That method could have fallen a part and just didn’t seem stable enough to me. I wanted something that could be hung but still matched the color theme I had going on in the back of my apartment. Another reason I wanted something to hang on the wall was to prevent something like a shelf from moving or risk falling over. I trust my guest but accidents happen and I just wanted to prevent any foreseen problems. I did put the unit together but I did not trust myself to hang it. So I can not speak on the hanging but the assembly was super easy. The assembly took all of 10mins or less when I unpacked everything. I know I said no complaints but maybe a suggestion would be grey instead of black. Give people the option to choose the color of the industrial piping as well as the shelves bc truth be told, I really needed grey but I made it work. ... show more

Pros: Good Instructions Easy to put together Looks amazing when all together Came with anchors and screws (this is not moving anywhere) Cons: Was expecting bright white shelves and its more like a worn distressed white look If you are short, will need another person to help

This item will work for what it was purchased for. The color of the wood has a reddish hue to it, not what I was looking for or expected. I will more than likely refinish when I have time. They are real pine boards, so I can.
