    • A DISASTROUS WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME
HORRIBLE NOT TO MENTION EXTREMELY CHEAP!! Putting this atrocious piece together is a nightmare. Nothing lines up. One piece goes on nothing else attached to it lines up correctly. Another piece goes on and hides attachment holes for another part. After it gets assembled imperfectly because of nothing lining up, it is off balance and wobbles like a drunk person attempting to walk down a sidewalk. The seller/manufacturer needs to pay me for wasting my time, the stress of assembly and a full refund!! One star is generous!! ... show more

I picked up this desk for my craft room for additional counter space as I wanted just a little bit extra work area. I was absolutely amazed how a small desk could fit in such a little box as shown next to 3 small cats. I was able to put together most of the desk within an hour though I did run into problems halfway through as the directions were wrong in regards to the table top supports and I had to flip them. I also found that the way the table top supports work there is absolutely no way to keep the bolts used to assemble the bars from conflicting with the underside of the table top, making it lay unevenly as pictured. I tried flipping the poles all different ways and there was absolutely no way that would allow the cross beam supports to be installed without those assembly bolts not impacting the underside of the table top. So now the table top lays in three uneven sections. The sections are small so my keyboard's not even going to lay flat. I opted out of the base tower shelf, the fabric pocket and the LED installation as I did not want to use these for my build. I am not sure that I would risk any type of weight on this desk as it's extremely flimsy and the legs are very small. The LED kit is extremely cheap and I'm not quite sure how long it would last, especially under use with kids. I do like the carbon fiber look of the table top and shelves themselves, but I have found that it's pretty easy to scratch. It's good that it came with wall anchors to keep the thing from flipping over as it's such a light desk and directions for anchoring it to both cement and masonite walls. I do like the fact that it has two plugs on the side of the desk in addition to two USB outlets. All in all, I think this is definitely a budget desk. It's poorly engineered and is a pain to put together. Manufactured pretty cheaply and the fact it's so light makes me concerned of premature failure, especially around kids. Presently priced at $69.99, I feel that would be in fair market value if it was better quality. Honestly, I would just steer clear of this desk all together.     • Sturdy and functional!
I was dumbfounded by the size of the box when my delivery came. Never would I ever had expecting this box to have been a desk. The charging station and the oxford fabric side pocket are great features but I wish that it had at least 1 drawer for more storage. The size of this desk is perfect for a small bedroom or a gaming room and the quality of the materials provided are decent. With me considering myself to be a professional put it togethererer, I anticipated to spend no more than 30 to 45 minutes to get 'er dun. The job actually took me more than 1 hour because the desk assembly provided it's set of challenges. My main challenge was the holes in the support rails not properly lining up with the holes in the particle board desktop. I use a power drill in my builds because I hate screwing in all 200 of those hex head screws by hand. What I did to complete the job was start the support frame screws but not completely tighten them, I did this so that I was still able to move the support frame around as this would help me to get all the holes aligned. Once the support frame was attached to the desktop, I then tightened the support frame. The 3 piece top is perfectly aligned and has no gaps and the entire project is sturdy and fully functional. None of the holes were threaded so it was flimsy attempting to continue to put it together the desk part didn’t even line up with the screw holes.

I have needed a desk for quite some time. I've made do with whatever piece of furniture that we've had available for art, at least the past few years. After we moved into our current place, I was finally given a dedicated office space. It wasn't much, in fact, it was just the inside of a closet. I've had a small table serving as my desk for the last few months while I've been searching for a desk that meets my needs while also being small enough to fit into my office. This desk was the answer I was looking for and I wasted no time ordering it. I was immediately impressed by how well it was packaged and that every part was labeled in a way that was easy to see and identify. Assembly was done in less than an hour and I was easily able to move it into my office by myself since it's so light. I think the last one feels quite sturdy for its size, but I still don't think I would try standing on it.
