I’ve been really enjoying this cleanser! The lather is especially nice and it feels rich and silky on my skin without feeling harsh or stripping. I have sensitive, aging skin that can be prone to redness, so I’m always a little hesitant to try new cleansers. So far, my skin is loving this one, and I haven’t noticed any additional redness or irritation after using it. It leaves my skin feeling clean, fresh, and comfortable rather than tight or dry. I’ve been using this exfoliated for years and I won’t switch to anything else. I love this so much. It does an amazing job at cleaning my skin and getting rid of oils, without making me feel dry! It’s very gentle but effective! It foams up super well. It does have a slight fragrance to it but I like it. You’re getting a pretty good amount of product. It leaves my skin feeling and looking fresh!

I love this product. It cleans my face very well without over drying or leaving a residue. I use this usually 2 times a day and have not noticed any redness, dryness, or irritation. I also usually use it with the oil prior to use. It has exfoliating ingredients, but I do not find it harsh or rough at all, like other exfoliating products. I'm glad someone told me about this product, and I gave it a try, my skin is clearer than it has been in many years. This is a very good sized portion that lasts me on average 60-70 days (using 2x per day). The price is great and shipping from Amazon is always fast. I would recommend this to those with oily, acne prone skin.

I have sensitive skin that feels oily but dries fast. I use this sparingly and it makes my face sufficiently clean but doesn’t dry it out and definitely doesn’t make my skin feel dry it or makes it peel. It’s is great value, effective and easy to use. It smells great, like you went to a spa good. I hope you enjoy it.

I squeeze a pea size amount on my damp hands and rub them together to get it all foaming and it last me a good year. I use mine twice a day. It's got a herbal slight minty clay smell that I'm had to get use to but it's not that strong. Trust me, I'm sensitive to smell. It's got some small speckles but it's not exfoliating grits like other face wash. It's more creamy and maybe just from the product they used in the mix that shows the speckles. I have dry/oily combo skin. I usually just use a toner and a face serum afterwards and my skin doesn't feel dry from the facewash. This also didn't break me out or cause any irritations but everyone's skin is different. I don't really have acne too so I'm not sure if it'll help clear your face but I can say I haven't had any breakouts and minimal clogged pores. I been using this for over 3yrs now and plan on purchasing in the future.

I wanted to write this review because I am someone who has a history of fungal acne and it’s a struggle finding products that work, especially if it’s not preventive and I’ve already got some texture/breakouts going on. I scan everything through a fungal acne database ( Sezia) and this cleanser is safe with no outwardly triggering ingredients that support yeast. It is not an everyday cleanser, the ingredients support more of an every other day routine however it doesn’t make it any less effective. I can honestly say that I noticed an incredible reduction of stubborn texture after using this. The formula is a grainy kind of blend and has a freshness to it that wakes up the skin. I follow up with an spf and I’m good to go. I know some people said this wasn’t drying for their skin but honestly the actives in this were for me and I think for most people it would be. I will say AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES. The bottle explicitly says this but I thought it was more because of the soap in the eye thing but unfortunately after using this to take off my eye makeup I developed a stye. I hadn’t done anything else new in my routine and I know heartleaf can irritate the eyes and clog the glands so I do think that was the cause. That was my fault though and this cleanser is good enough for me to keep using with the extra caution so I’m just putting it out there. I’ve attached photos of before and after using the cleanser ( 1 day apart )

Love this foaming cleanser! makes my skin feel squeaky clean without drying it out, and I do feel like my pores are a lot smaller with consistent use. It has a slight scrubbing property but it's gentle enough for daily use, and has quercetinol to calm the skin, BHA and salicylic acid to help with breakouts too!

At 68 years of age, I started noticing more clogged pores on my nose, chin and temples along with a prickly, rough feel on my face and neck. Scrubbing with my regular cleanser and a rough facecloth only irritated my already sensitive skin. Salicylic acid did nothing to unclog the pores. I started doing some research and found this advice: “Using a cleansing oil is an excellent way to address clogged pores and a prickly texture, as it relies on the chemical principle that "like dissolves like." The oil binds to and melts away hardened sebum, sunscreen, and plugs inside the pores without stripping the skin barrier. However, to clear those prickly plugs without breaking out, you must use the double cleansing method. This means massaging the oil onto dry skin, rinsing it completely, and immediately following up with a standard water-based face wash.” That’s when I found Anua Heartleaf Pore Controlling Cleansing Oil and Anua Heartleaf Quercetinol Pore Refining Cleanser. At bedtime I use the cleansing oil followed by the cleanser and a good moisturizer. Mornings I use the cleanser followed by a lightweight gel cream. The first night of using these products was amazing! My skin was smoother than it’s ever been. I must say that the thought of putting oil on my already super oily skin was very unsettling, but massaging it in and having that prickly feeling disappear was remarkable. It did take a bit of rinsing to get the oil off but the cleanser removed any residue. It has only been a few days of use but I love these products. Some reviews mention a fragrance. I am very sensitive to fragrances and I found nothing strong or unpleasant about it. The price wasn’t too bad and I think each product will last quite a while before I have to repurchase it. I highly recommend these products.
