I ordered this because we've apparently been accumulating paddles for the water toys that somehow arrive at our beach house. They either become trip hazards or elaborate traps that lean against walls and wait to collapse when an unsuspecting person passes by too closely. This rack is incredibly easy to attach to a wall or tree, and it simply holds a bunch of wide headed tools/objects (like paddles) in place without damaging them. Simple and effective. It does seem a bit expensive for what it is, but overall I'm happy with it.

Tired of your paddles falling down from where you leaned them in a corner? This storage rack is the solution you've been needing! Upgrade your storage and look like a pro. The description says 6 paddles, but I only put 4 on there comfortably. Maybe if they are were the same, you could squeeze more on, but wouldn't work well for different styles that don't nest well. Great addition to my garage organization!

With 5 kayaks we have a lot of paddles (we even have extras) that were just leaning up against the wall until they no longer weren't. This is a great way to store them and keep them together and out of the way. Had we had something like this long ago we probably would have been able to keep a couple of them from breaking. The hook is sturdy and padded which could disintegrate over time as our rack is outdoors but I'm sure we'll be able to replace it with something if that should happen. Can't speak to the screws as husband always uses something else but they are long and, as long as they're secured properly, I'm sure they'd be fine. I'm sure it would also be useful to hang lighter weight aluminum ladders. Very pleased with this and, while we probably won't need another one, I would not hesitate to purchase again.

This paddle rack is made of very sturdy metal. I have no doubt that it will hold the 50 pounds pictured in the description...it could probably hold more if secured to a stud properly. It will have no trouble supporting my kayak and canoe paddles which weigh significantly less. Be aware that the rubber coating stops about 2 inches from the back of the rack, as pictured in the description. If you plan to fully load the rack, the paddles in the back will rest directly on the metal. It would have been nicer if the rubber extended all the way to the back of the rack.

These are well made kayak paddle racks! We put them up and put on paddles on them. They haven't seen any use beyond that since it's winter but so far I'm very pleased with the quality. I'll update if there are any quality issues this summer.
